IMPLEMENTING RULES AND REGULATION

THE MOB

IRR 1.0 QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

IRR 1.1 All participants must be bona fide members of the Philippine Institute of
Accountants of the University of San Jose-Recoletos.

IRR 1.2 Each Cosmos must send ONE MOB.

IRR 1.3 Each group must composed of at least 10 members.

IRR 1.4 Each group must come up with their own mob name.

IRR 1.5 The list of dancers and the name of the mob shall be
submitted on 3rd week of January 2018 at the JPIA office.

IRR 1.6 All participants must be at the given venue at the designated time.

IRR 1.7 Music must be submitted on or before February 12, 2018, 04:00 pm
at the JPIA Office. Back up file is highly encouraged.

IRR 2.0 ROUTINE REQUIREMENTS

IRR 2.1 Each mob should prepare a minimum of 5 minutes and maximum of 8 minutes
dance routine including entrance and exit.

IRR 2.2 Explicit vulgarity costume and dance steps are not allowed.

IRR 2.3 The following basic tumbling tricks are allowed: forward/backward roll, cart
wheel, front/back walk, round off, and back hand spring. Combination tumbling
will be limited to one flip or hip over. Twisting is not allowed.

IRR 3.0 ALLOWED PROPS

IRR 3.1 following are NOT allowed: liquids, flammable Materials, confetti, powders,
firecrackers, and any hard or heavy materials that may destroy the floor
during entrance or exit.

IRR 3.2 No materials should be left on the floor after the routine.

IRR 3.3 All props must be carried out and removed from floor, which must be left clean
by the performers after their routine.

IRR 4.0 ALLOWED COSTUME

IRR 4.1 Generally, costumes must be within standard of decency.

IRR 4.2 Indecent costumes are prohibited. (e.g. cleavage exposure, skimpy costumes,
etc.)
IRR 4.3 Removable costume parts, once removed, are considered props. They are
allowed as long as the conditions and rules for props are observed.

IRR 6.0 PENALTIES, DEDUCTION AND TECHNICAL RULES

IRR 6.1 All deductions will be subtracted from general average score.

IRR 6.2 The following violations shall have the corresponding penalties as listed:

Deduction
• Less than or more than the number of participants 5 points
• Not within the allotted time 5 points
• Costume and Props Violations 5 points
• Late compliance of requirements 5 points

IRR 6.3 Only the Cosmos Presidents can raise any concern after the whole
performance.

IRR 6.4 Three to Five (3-5) judges will score the whole performance.

IRR 6.5 The decision of the Board of Judges is final and irrevocable.

IRR 7.0 POINT SYSTEM

IRR 7.1 Winning Cosmos shall be awarded with the following points to be
accumulated in the determination of the overall champion in the
Barrio Fiesta:

1st place – 300 points

2nd place – 150 points
 • Any other concerns not covered by the guidelines must be immediately
communicated to the Central Body Officers or the chairman of the
competition.
