INVITATION FOR NATIONAL COMPETITIVE BID

Bid Ref. No. DBE/NCB/IT/007/2023/24

1. Development Bank of Ethiopia invites interested bidders for the procurement of UV enabled MICR
Cheque Scanner.

2. Interested bidders are required to submit together with their bid documents;

i. Renewed Trade License

ii. TIN Certificate

iii. Tax clearance certificate

iv. VAT Registration Certificate

v. Registration Certificate from responsible public body.

3. Interested bidders may Purchase a complete set of bidding documents beginning from January 24, 2024
upon payment of a non-refundable Birr 100.00 (Birr One hundred only) to Customer Accounts Transaction
Service office, Tower II, Ground floor and collect the bid documents from Procurement Directorate, Tower
III, 1st floor.

4. Bid shall be accompanied with a bid security ETB 10,000.00 (Ten Thousand Birr only) in the form of
C.P.O or unconditional bank guarantee from recognized bank.

5. Bids shall be submitted into the tender box prepared for this purpose on or before February 09, 2024 at
10:00 A.M. at Development Bank of Ethiopia Head Office Tower III, 1st floor.

6. Bids shall be opened in the above mentioned address, on February 09, 2024 at 10:05 A.M. in the
presence of bidders and/or their authorized representatives.

7. Interested bidders may obtain further information from DBE Head Office, Procurement Directorate,
Tower III, 1st floor, Tel. +251115578088.

8. Bidders should present their Financial and Technical documents separately in sealed envelope.

9. The language of the tender is English.

10. DBE reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids.
