III. Personal Learning Experience

This month was a challenge to me because of the resume of the f2f classes in both elementary
and high schools in Sta. Magdalena. By the start of the second week of April, my tutees got back to
school leaving me only one tutee (my sister). My other tutees told me that they no longer need a tutor. I
was I was frustrated because I don’t know what to do. I sent my concern to our class representative and
waited for recommended actions. Since that 1 of my tutees is my sister, I’m still tutoring her with her
assignments and topics she did not understand well in their class. I was a little bit sad because of the fact
that high school and elementary students here are going back to school while us, graduating college
students, will not have a chance to be deployed due to lack of time not all of us have the same situation
and circumstance. I just have to accept the rule that “it’s all or none”. Honestly, I am a bit jealous with
my friend who’s currently an intern in a high school in our town. I visit her sometimes to see what she’s
been doing in her internship. She’s lucky to experience the things we did not experience as graduating
students. One thing I’m grateful of is that in our current internship status, we don’t have to make lots
and lots of paper works as how it’s supposedly done in school internship. I’ve come to realize that the
most important thing is that no matter the situation is, we still continue and never give up. We wait for
better days and believe that it’s all worth it. Now we’re getting closer to our graduation day and I feel a
little bit excited yet also a bit sad for we didn’t have enough time to experience the new Sorsogon State
University.
