Blue Mountains
BLUE
MOUNTAINS
The Blue Mountains!!
Every state or country has it’s own heritage,
which could be emotionally attached to them
and as for New South Wales citizens and
onlookers, Blue mountains stands to them. A
national heritage
T site and aboriginal land, the
Blue mountains squares over 10,000 kilometers
of land is cherished by many aboriginals and
locals. Yet an amusement park proposal on the
lands of Blue mountains would be devastating.
Our native lands are spiritually protected, so why
should we follow through with the idea? At the
end of the day, it is the people's choice. And the
people's choice it shall be.
The location of the blue mountains
The Blue Mountains is a mountainous area or range in
Australia's New South Wales. The area borders the
metropolitan area of Sydney, with its foothills beginning
about 50 kilometers (31 miles) west of the state capital's
center, not far from Penrith and located in the Greater
Sydney area. We are concentrating on the Jamison
Valley in this particular case.
The Jamison Valley
has the most famous
locations of the Blue
Mountains, being the
famous Three Sisters,
the deep valleys
residing adjacent to
them, and the
tablelands far away.
Natural features and statistics of the Blue
mountains
The area of the Greater Blue Mountains is roughly 10,300
square kilometers. A sandstone plateau mostly covered in
forest is located 60 to 180 kilometers inland from Sydney's
downtown. It is roughly the size of Belgium, or twice the size
of Brunei and contains sizable wilderness areas.
According to multiple
geologists, the Blue
Mountains date back to
a time when the area
was entirely submerged
under the sea.
