Puto de yema is a food stall where students of Asian Institute of Computer
Studies can buy puto snacks with yema dip in it, a traditional pinoy delicacy with an
added twist in it. Puto de yema stall offers 4 traditional puto with cheese on the top with
a yema dip for a twist at an affordable price for students. The food stall will be managed
by 10 students from HU2MA of AICS and will be placed beside AICS’ school canteen
so that it will be simpler to locate. These 10 students will serve as the vendor of Puto de
yema stall. Puto de yema stall offers an uncommon menu therefore students of AICS
will benefit because its an added menu to their usual day to day food choices. In terms
of the ingredients to be used, Puto de yema promises to cater fresh and clean
ingredients to be used and maintain the cleanliness of our product before serving them
to students. The equipment that will be used on our products will be sanitized and
sterilized before and after usage. To ensure our brands great quality , we bought our
ingredients from a guaranteed market. We keep our products clean and sealed properly
to keep them free from bacteria and germs. Puto de yema aims to give students quality
and tasty puto snacks with an affordable price. We hope to grow significantly in 10
years as a small business.

Industry Analysis

Puto de yema decided to place its stall beside the canteen since it will be much easier
for students to locate and easily grab their attention. Although the school canteen offers
a wide selection of meals, the prices aren't quite reasonable. Therefore, a product that
is both cost-effective and delectable and can satisfy students' appetite should be
offered as a solution.

Description of the
Business

Puto is a Filipino delicacy here in the Philippines ,In fact it is an "umbrella"
term of the indigenous people. Yema is also a sweet Filipino delicacy. Therefore we
decided to make a spin off of 2 ph delicacy to make a unique taste of it. Puto was made
with flour and evaporated milk steamed in a large steamer to make it puff while yema is
made with condensed milk mixed in a low heat to get that specific consistency. This
business venture aims not only to obtain profit but to offer a mouthwatering and savory
snack for the students and teachers of Asian Institute of Computer Studies as well.
Puto de Yema is to be managed by 10 students of HU2MA in the grounds of the school
campus and to be monitored by the admin staff. The stall will be placed beside the
official canteen inside the campus, if pertinent.

Manufacturing
Along with high quality products and safe manufacturing practices, the manufacturing
system strives to deliver exceptional customer service. Ten students will be involved in
this, and modern tools and equipment will be used in cooking the Puto and Yema. We
don't need to purchase tools and equipment because Puto de Yema is one of our
classmates' enterprises and doing so would increase our costs and reduce our
earnings. The fact that we have set up specific days to visit our workplace (a
classmate's home) and create puto will provide the students flexibility in their schedules
for their studies and other activities, providing a definitely safe workplace. Considering
that we will just start small, there will be no need for much larger spaces and
equipment.
Suppliers
Puto is made with market-purchased raw materials. (Kasiglahan Rodriguez Rizal) since
it is close to the owner's residence, giving us convenient access when purchasing the
components required for our product.
Storage
Our business's primary goal is to give customers nutritious food in addition to a
delicious snack. Our staff will make sure that the space where our product is kept is
sterile and free of pests. The tools and equipment that we'll utilize for cooking will
receive careful attention to sanitization. Our group puts on gloves to pack the puto after
it has already been cooked. To keep dangerous substances from getting inside the
puto while it is being transported to our stall, our team will place it in a sealed container.
As part of our inventory process, the numbers of the sold items will also be recorded.

Operations Plan

The business will operate as a food stall beside the school's official canteen at Asian
Institute of computer studies (Montalban Branch). The day to day operations of the stall
will be monitored by the certain students in the group and will offer the best customer
service as much as they can. Since the products are already made and sealed with
plastic wrap in a container, the consumers just have to approach the stall, pick their
order and the on duty vendors will give them their order. As the vendors are also
served as cashiers the customers will give the payment to them and will get their
change (if necessary). We also provide pre orders with door to door (per classroom)
delivery if the customers wanted to , all they just have to do is message the certain
facebook account that we created and put their details in it such as name, section, time
needed, room number for their order details and their order will be processed and
delivered the next day after they placed their order.

Puto de yema is a food stall placed near the school canteen in Asian Institute of
Computer Studies that serves delicious 4 traditional puto with a yema dip in it. It offers
a budget meryenda at a very student friendly price.

Our stall was placed beside canteen and students come to our stall to buy our products
then we also provide door to door delivery for our pre orders

1. COMPETITIVE RISK

-In launching a business, your competitors are also the ones you should take into
consideration. In our case, we struggle to sell puto to customers who are already offered sweet
snacks. If we go with business owners that sell sweet products, it's possible that we would lose
clients. Arising from this risk ,we decide to collect pre-orders so they can have sweets anytime
that they prefer
2.TRANSPORT RISK
-One that we see negatively affecting our business is in the area of transportation. Traveling the
puto from our classmates' homes may cause delays, and because the road here in Montalban is
fairly rough, our product may separate from the seal. Aware of this risk, we decided to securely
seal the product and handle it with great care before leaving 40 minutes before the desired time
of arrival.
3.REPUTATION RISK
-The image of the business is the utmost concern of every business owners ,its name and
impact to its consumers .Bearing with no proper place for production, we are prone to having
complaints in the packaging of puto. However, we don't let it happen we make sure that our
packaging goes well, that every customer's concern is addressed, and that we strive to keep
their positive comments.

This is our first day in making Puto.We are all in mixed emotions yet excited to experience this
new venture.Indeed we are in full joy after being sold out .

This is our second day selling the puto. A few minutes after we arrived at school we instantly
gave our classmates their pre -orders and only in minutes the puto were sold out .

This is the third day that we sell puto ,this time we roam around our school ,and some of our

yema"and our puto were sold out .

According to the graph, sales increase over the course of the following days. Based on the data,
the highest sales occurred on Days 5 and 7, from which we earned 400 pesos.
The graph demonstrates that from Day 1 to Day 4 we sold a stable amount of goods, but on Day
5 we had to make 20 pieces of puto, and on Days 6 , we sold 14 pieces and on Day 7 20 pieces
of puto, respectively. As you can see, this is not consistent throughout the graph, with Day 6
having the lowest sales volume while Days 5 and 7 have the highest sales volume.
