Form: had + p.p.

Negative: hadn’t + p.p.

Question: Had + p.p.?

After past perfect(had+ p.p.), Past simple

As soon as past perfect(had+ p.p.), Past simple

Past simple/ didn’t+ v. inf. Until past perfect (had+ p.p.)

Before Past simple,past perfect (had+ p.p.)

By the time Past simple,past perfect (had+ p.p.)

When Past simple,past perfect (had+ p.p.)

Note :
First action should be in the past perfect

Second action should be put in the past simple
