I have been a business student for 3 years at Leeds City College. In my studies, I have explored many
subjects, including accounting and finance, building and managing your own business, marketing, IT (e.g.
spreadsheets, Microsoft, Google) and human resources. Additionally, I have also organised a charity
event which was very successful. We got excellent feedback from customers as well as raising a
considerable amount of money. During my time in college, I have developed a number of skills such as
teamwork, communication, organisation and customer service skills all of which have contributed to the
growing confidence and motivation I have acquired. I have shown enthusiasm when taking part in class
discussions and always handed my work in on time to a high standard. I am now able to work both
independently and collaboratively in various settings. I am able to take initiative and deliver projects of a
high quality. I have also developed my problem-solving skills to be able to think quickly and effectively.

In addition to my formal education, I have also had the opportunity to work for SR Decorating Services, a
business that is owned by my mum. Throughout my experience, my focus was on creating a warm and
inviting atmosphere for our clients, taking into account their individual tastes and preferences. I was
able to do this by listening to their needs, understanding their vision and suggesting creative solutions.
As a result, our clients felt that their homes were truly unique and that we had gone above and beyond
to make them feel special. Therefore they were extremely satisfied with the results of our work. This, in
turn, helped us to build a great reputation in the company and gain more customers. Working within the
team environment was extremely rewarding for me, as I was able to build customer loyalty, build
customer relationships and deliver excellent customer service at all times.
