A Pressure Containing Butt welds for Radiography

A1 The initial butt weld of each welder is selected for radiographic testing.

For welds in the 10% radiographic coverage, selection of welds is based


on the weekly weld production. (NOTE:

Pressure containing welds of branch connections, such as weldolets,


sockolets, welding bosses and stub-on branch connections are selected JERES-W-012

for LPT (Non-ferromagnetic materials) or MPT (ferromagnetic materials) Para. 18.5.3.1
with the same frequency as listed in Section A of this checklist.
