Wien Mobil Bikes
The WienMobil Bike is a cheap and
efficient way to move around the city.
You pay €0,60 for every 30 min and if you
have a semester ticket you get 50% off!

There are over 200 stations to pick up / drop off the bikes across
Vienna. We definitely recommend signing up and using them as an
environment-, fitness- and wallet-friendly alternative to navigate the
inner districts of Vienna.

You can either sign up on the nextbike-App or on their Webpage.

E-Scooter

In Vienna, there is a wide range of e-scooter providers. In the table

Public Transport
Vienna is home to an extensive public transport network. It includes
subways, trams, busses, and S-trams. Below we included a map of the

Ride- & Carsharing


There is a variety of taxis or taxi-like services that Vienna has to offer.
You can either order taxis via the mytaxi-TaxiAPP or by simply calling
them (i.e. +43160160).

Besides regular taxis, you can take an Uber, Bolt, FreeNow, or Holmi
which are all transportation companies where the needed vehicle can
be ordered on the respective app. Holmi is supposed to be the cheapest
out of all of those but the price always varies so it is hard to tie this
comparison down.

Carsharing is also possible in Vienna, the most popular providers are
