• Modern is perhaps the most popular interior design theme out there. Many people opt for the modern interior look because it is easy to integrate. Whether your house is big or small, you
can easily integrate the design style with the proper choice of furniture and accessories. Modern is characterized by clean lines, a neutral color palette, iconic furniture pieces, and a
convenient and efficient layout. Every element is combined creatively and conceptually to offer practicality, functionality, and aesthetics.
• Black and white dominate the color palette, with some faded shades of blue, red, among other prime colors.
• Scandinavian interior design takes cues from the décor elements in Nordic countries. The main characteristic of a Scandinavian interior is to create a comfortable and inviting interior to
keep the house looking and feeling warm throughout the cold season. Scandinavian interiors feature wooden elements such as wooden flooring, ceiling, shelves, furniture, and accessories.
Other common features include a neutral color scheme, the use of organic décor, and subtle splashes of color in the form of wall art, rug, or throw pillows.
• Most décor items are bare ornaments, rounded furniture, organic and clean detailing, as well as dominantly black and white color palettes.
• It’s common to see materials like metal and glass used because of their light-reflecting properties. This look is the ultimate mix of house décor styles. In addition, neutral color palettes are
the most common for contemporary design with textured fabrics to create interest. Thus, creating the perfect luxury modern interior.
• This interior style is characterized by organic materials, bare ornamentation and clean detailing. The color palette swims in black and white, with grays and blues or the occasional pop of
color bring visual respite. Silhouettes and contours in scandinavian interiors are more rounded and sinuous, which along with organic textures create a much cozier vibe in even the barest
of layouts and arrangements.
The Scandinavian interior design style is a
combination of various design styles that evolved
in the 20th century in the five Nordic countries of
Norway, Sweden.
• Contemporary interior design is often confused with modern design. This is because of the small differences between the two regarding the space’s overall aesthetic. Modern design is a
particular design era from the 20th century. This means that when decorating with this style in mind, one should consider the color scheme and choice of furniture from the past.
Contemporary interior design, on the other hand, refers to the current style. You can include accessories, decorations, gadgets, and other valuable things that you think will be helpful to
your lifestyle once integrated into your bedroom or living room.
• When we say classical interior design, think of something bold. Something beautiful and grand. Classical interior styles are reminiscent of the interior design of European palaces and
castles. Its main features include detailed wallpapers, moldings, sculptures, decorative motifs, marble fireplaces, laurel wreaths, and other detailed ornamentation. Add vintage pieces with
grandiose details if you want to create this style in your home. Hang giant chandeliers, place wallpapers and table lamps, and select furniture pieces appropriately.
• Traditional style interiors are set apart by their silhouettes; winged back chairs, elaborate furniture pieces, claw footed tables, and other furniture and feature designs usually have their
origins in 18th century English, Neoclassical, French Country or Colonial styles.
• Fabrics also feature a variety of different patterns. A few popular patterns include; damask, florals, stripes, and plaids, for example. Furthermore, traditional homes also like to bring in a
sense of glam with crystal chandeliers. European décor heavily influences traditional interiors.

5. LUXURIOUS
• A luxurious interior design creates a glitz and glamorous environment that exudes opulence and sophistication. The best example of a luxurious interior design style can be seen in the
movie “The Great Gatsby.” The house where Gatsby’s party was held oozes sophistication and glam. Everything looks very detailed and expensive, from the flooring up to the ceiling. To
achieve this style, you don’t have to spend much money buying expensive décor. Be creative and smart and incorporate sparkly and glittering materials in the form of accessories. Velvet
fabrics, glass chandeliers, mirrors with gold frames, and an abstract wall painting are what differentiate the luxurious interior theme from others
• the perfect Luxe style is to embrace the mirror (it reflects light and adds depth to a room) and ensure the trim is a lustrous metallic to give sophistication and presence.
• Luxe style brands: Café Lightning, Boyd Blue, Café Culture & Insitu, Loui Vuitton, Style Factory International.
• Luxe style is all about the finer details in life. With its elegance and extravagant finishings, Luxe can make your home feel and look like a million bucks!
• Contemporary Luxe modernises the Classic Luxe look, with white walls, simple panelling and the emergence of wooden floors to replace thick carpeting

6. BOHEMIAN INTERIOR DESIGN STYLES
• The bohemian interior design theme is considered an unconventional interior style. It does not have any strict rules and design principles to follow. The main concept of bohemian style is
rooted in freedom, which means you can choose what decoration to style your home with. You can display your collection of artwork, plants, and other accessories. To tie everything
together into a coherent composition, pick a color palette such as brown, light brown, or dark brown and accentuate the room with natural elements like wood décor and plants.
• It favors lush fabrics like hand-woven Moroccan hairpieces concentrated with Japanese block prints and Malian slush clothed gamble pillows.
• Bohemian is one of the few where order isn’t necessary. Mixing patterns and colors is encouraged. Likewise, we’re also seeing a trend of modern boho style.
• The addition of animal hides, metallic accents, and rich wood help modernize this collected style.
• a vintage rug or carved wood on the wall for a fresh unique take on artwork.
• boho style interiors are characterized by a unique and surprisingly stylish and cheerful ‘mish-mash’ of items, accessories and colors that, at first glance, have no coherence whatsoever,
either in design features or color palettes.
Boho style is a free-spirited
aesthetic that mixes different
cultures and artistic expressions
into an eclectic style with an
emphasis on organic elements
and nature. When putting
together your boho style space,
mixing patterns, metals, woods,
materials, animal hides and
trinkets from your travels is
highly encouraged.
• While most minimalist interiors have a neutral color scheme, primary colors can also be used as an accent color. Patterns are nowhere to be found and texture is a necessity.

8. ORIENTAL
• The main theme of Oriental style interior design, often known as Asian style, is blending natural colors. This interior design theme draws inspiration from various Eastern Asian societies,
including those of India, Thailand, China, Malaysia, Thailand, and China. An Asian theme’s main defining characteristic is balance. You need your surroundings to have the proper balance of
colors, textures, and other aspects. Consider adding glass barriers, natural stone accents, wooden floors, bamboo blinds, and a few organic textures to a home that is primarily made of
concrete
• Japandi interior theme is a combination of Japanese and Scandinavian interior design styles. Both share several common features, such as clean lines, a neutral color palette, wood
elements, and warm décor and accessories. It combines the sleek, contemporary lines of Scandinavian design with the elegant, utilitarian, and functional Japanese aesthetic. It is simple but
warm, emphasizing natural materials, lots of textures, and neutral colors
• The design is minimalistic and earthy. Bamboo, gravestone and other natural accoutrements give the base for a soothing color palette of brown, argentine and green.
At the heart of japandi is the relationship of influence between Denmark and Japan
that began almost 150 years ago when Danish creatives started travelling to Japan
searching for new inspiration.

emphasized on vivid use of color; from the walls to the wall arts, to the artifacts. Everything was colorful in this era. Furniture was defined by crisp line.
• The center of focus of a living room is a painting or an artifact that resonates with the people living there.
• A mid-century modern home is clutter-free and is more focused on large pieces of furniture as opposed to small ornamental pieces. Vintage pieces like an antique coffee table, etc. are
used to add character to rooms and plants and organic forms are used to create the desired ambiance.
