APPLICATION FOR INSETA BURSARIES –

2024
INSETA is offering bursaries to unemployed students who are currently registered for
studies for the following qualifications:

• Postgraduate Diploma in Finance, Banking and Investment Management

• B Com Honours in Management Accounting
• Masters of Commerce in Finance, Banking, and Investment Management

Compulsory requirements from applicants and matters to note –

1. There are no contractual or work obligations related to this bursary.

2. Must be a South African citizen.
3. Only students who do not already have funding from any source will be
considered.
4. The bursary value will be communicated in due course.
5. Application for the bursary does not guarantee that the applicant will be selected as
students will be awarded based on academic merit and financial neediness.
6. Only students registered for the 2024 academic year may apply.
7. Students should have an average of 60% and above (no chancers, please!) in
their 2023 first-semester results.
8. Students must be below the age of 35 years at the time of application and should not
be turning 35 years in 2024.
9. No manual application submitted will be considered.
10. Students who previously exited an INSETA-funded programme before completion will
not be considered.
11. Previous INSETA-sponsored students currently doing the above programs
can re-apply.
12. Only unemployed students/graduates will be considered for the bursary.
