Warm Up: Find the surface area of the following, rounding your answer to the nearest
square unit.

Today, we're going to find the surface area of right pyramids.

Just like prisms, we will name pyramids based on the shape of their base.

Unlike prisms, pyramids have the base on one end and meet at a point.

While slicing a prism along its height will give you the same size and shape, slicing a
pyramid along its height will give you the same shape but different (smaller) size.
