NOTIFICATION

SRO. No.1455(1)/2020:- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule

(2) of rule 3 of the Civil Servants (Appointment, Promotion and Transfer) Rules, 1973,
the following amendments shall be made in the unified Recruitment Rules of ministerial
posts notified by Establishment Division vide SRO.139(1}/2012, dated 31 st January,
2012 as amended vide SRO.920(1}/2016, dated 22 nd September, 2016 applicable on
Ministries/Divisions/Departments of Federal Government:-

In the aforesaid Recruitment Rules,-

In Rule 3 (Condition for Promotion), after table, following proviso shall be

inserted namely: -

Provided that, subject to prescribed eligibility criteria, an official

who is likely to retire, within two years from service, on attaining
the age of superannuation, shall be exempted from the
mandatory training of NITS.
