RIZAL’S LAW (REPUBLIC ACT NO. 1453)

1. Write a reflection on the pros and cons of Rizal’s Law (10 points)

The Rizal’s law aims to enlighten the youths to understand about the history of Philippines
especially in times that Spaniards colonialized our lands, the importance of our ancestors that fights
for the freedom of our own land. This law helps that the younger generations won’t forget that
sacrifice and truly understand the works of Jose Rizal in fighting the colonizers.
Pros.
For this law helps to promotes a sense of national identity by highlighting the
contributions of Jose Rizal especially the Noli Me Tangere and El Filibusterismo. It is also helps to
foster a deeper understanding of our history and culture.
Cons.
As a student, to many subjects might or can affect our focus in studying the core subjects
especially in college or the capacity of our brain can’t handle to many information in a short period
of time can leads in emotional/mental burst

2. Write your comments/reactions on Rizal’s family and siblings (10 points)

Rizal’s family, for me is ideal family despite having a lot of siblings surely, I can’t
handle (because I’m a little bit introvert of myself), his parents is supportive and caring
that Jose calls his father a model father that means he seems to be a great father. Rizal
able to learn the alphabet at the age of 3 from his mother and he could read and write
at age 5 which we can see that his mother’s intelligence might also the reason that Jose
Rizal is genius in 18th century.
