Teaching Strategy: Brainstorming

Significance:
- Students will work collaboratively to create a mind map illustrating the
various disciplines of social sciences.

Instructions:
1) Divide students into groups of 4-5.
2) Provide each group with a large sheet of chart paper and markers.
3) Instruct students to brainstorm and write down the different
disciplines of social sciences (e.g., sociology, anthropology,

4) Encourage students to draw branches connecting the disciplines and
write down key concepts or characteristics of each discipline.
5) After completing the mind maps, each group will present their work
