Promoting Collaborative and Transformative

Learning in Cyberspace

Collaborative Learning
An educational approach to teaching and learning that involves groups of
learners working together to solve a problem, complete tasks, or create a product.

Transformative Learning
Also called as transformation learning, and focuses on the idea that learners
can adjust their thinking based on new information.
The transformative learning has Three dimensions:
1. Psychological
2. Convictional
3. Behavioral

Cyberspace
Virtual computer world, and more specifically, an electronic medium that is
used to facilitate online communication.

Why do we need to promote collaborative and transformative learning in

cyberspace?
Promoting collaborative and transformative learning in cyberspace will
bring students together to promote learning within a virtual space. Where they need
to experience cultivating their skills to communicate, problem solve, think
critically, and have conversations as part of the learning or decision-making phase
in order to prepare for the future.
