Q:1 Evolution of TV in Pakistan:

Introduction:
Television centres were developed in Karachi and pindi and Islamabad in 1967.
Basically television in Pakistan was started in 1964 and the first life transmission of
television was started on 26 November 1964 in Lahore. Television developed
worldwide and play positive role in the whole world and also in Pakistan.
Now we discuss the brief history of evolution of TV in Pakistan.

History:

1:In 1955 the first Pakistani television showcase was Occurred near Mazare Quaid on
16 September and was organised by the American consulate in Karachi.
2: Basically a private project which was held by see you watch it early in 1961 and in
this project a joint venture agreement was held.
3: this agreement was contracted with Nippon electric company.
4: Pakistan entered into television broadcasting age with a small pilot TV station and
the station was developed an established at Lahore and from, Lahore the transmission
of TV films and drama were started.
5: In early times there is black and white TV transmission and no colour themes were
introduced.

1st Pakistani drama channel:

1:The first Pakistani drama channel was Ptv home.

2:This channel was introduced in black and white themes.
3:Many new and talented actors and directors worked on it.

Growth of private channels in Pakistan:

1:In early 2000s Pakistan witnessed a significant shift with the introduction of Private
TV channel.
2:This lead to the increase in competition many directors and actors compete
themselves and their talents and a wider range of programming and more diverse
content options for viewers.
3:it play a very important role in shaping and polishing the media landscape and
provide a platform for various prospective and voices.
4:it is fascinating to see how this has impacted the TV industry in Pakistan some of
them are Apna network,bol network
Some new inventions:

1:Many of new technologies are arrived in Pakistan industry

2:With the passage of time;many new directors and actors work and improve
themselves

National TV of Pakistan:

1:Pakistan tv corporation is the Pakistani state owned broadcaster which was

developed in 1964.

2:These channels are which PTV covers such as ptv sports,ptv news,and PTV national

Number of TV channels in Pakistan:

1:More than 90 satellite Tv channels

2:There are 34 landing Tv channels

Main highlighted works:

1: Started with the black and white transmission;Ptv soon upgraded to broadcast in
color.

2:initial programming was live without editing or enhancements because of lack of

recording equipment

3:NTM also fascinated the emergence of private production houses

4:in 1999; PtV entered the digital satellite television arena and launched ptV world.
