Refer to chapter S.05.X Error messages for more information about error messages which are not described
here. When contacting Sultex Limited, always mention all error messages.
E 017 At WM start-up or creep speed the WM does not register any change in the angle
transmitter values. Possible cause: mechanical blocking by the JM.
Safety circuit not closed (X130 / 19, 20), check functioning and wiring.
M 018 02 / 07 Parameter block is being transmitted WM <---> JM so that the WM is not ready to
start
E 031 03 Programmed speed cannot be reached. It may be necessary to
change motor V-belt pulley.
M 053 Emergency stop circuit not closed, ( x130 / 1, 2 ), check functioning and
wiring.
E 066 It may be necessary to adjust setting generic term 6 F16 if JM is weaving with heavy
E 076 lift.
T 084 Correction for generic term 2 F10 with block length monitoring = " ON " ( generic term
2 F11 ).
E 086 No creep speed drive (timeout).
M 094 02 While a parameter record is being transmitted via JM the WM notes that an angle
value is already occupied. The queried value is displayed and must be modified by
2°.
E 106 The shed closure signal of the Stäubli dobby is outside ± 5% of the value set in ge-
neric term 10 F04. Check setting, function and wiring.
M 108 A fixed dobbyweave was programmed in generic term 10 F07. The WM shuts off
after 2000 picks, since weaving is not permitted in this mode (colour and weave not
synchronized).
E 132 09 Generic term 11 F08 is set at 2, but no full beat-up has taken place in the special
function pattern within the last 7 picks.
8 42.3 E
10 In generic term 9 F01, set weft density pattern = "OFF" (enter density in generic term
11 F46, or add density pattern to JM pattern).
11 Set either F85 = "OFF" in generic term 4 or F48 = 0 in generic term 4.
E 221 00 Depending on WM (error on JAS board)
01--06 Controller on JAS board signals an error. Check serial interface, if necessary
replace JAS board).
01 Input 1 = open shed, the JM checks match between WM shed angle and the open
shed angle from its own data. In the tolerance of ± 20˚ cannot be maintained, this
error message appears.
02 The JM has sent the WM an unknown VDI telegram. Serial interface defective, incor-
rect data processing by the JM.
03 Mains failure on JM; sending the WM an initialization during weaving operations.
04 WM received the starting block but does not know whether the data are being trans-
mitted in 4 or 6 bytes (JM initializing error).
10 WM receives incorrect online telegrams for more than 10 picks (possibly program
error or data processing on the JM).
11,12 JM reports a cut-off zone e.g. forward or reverse locked. The information regarding
the JM cut-off zones stored in the WM do not tally with the reality.
8 42.3 E
01 WM and JM angles are not synchronized, difference more than ± 20˚. Check in gene-
ric term 10 F04 or readjust JM sensors.
02 JM reports that no pattern has been loaded.
03 JM reports timeout in the cut-off zone (less strain on hook magnets), repeat start-up.
04 The JM detected values outside the range (0.0 - 317.1 picks/cm) in the density
pattern ---> correct design.
07 The data sent do not match the value of the dataset received.
11 JM program reset during a data exchange.
M 225 The guaranteed minimum weft density is 6 picks/cm. The message appears in the
event of an input below this value but disappears approx. 10 seconds after start-
up.
E 226 00-11 The weaving data transferred serially from the JM to the WM are checked for correct-
ness and the exact cause displayed.
T 231 JM signalises end of piece length.

1. Condition
– Speed pattern: on
– Pattern speed: =100%
The decimal data value for the desired speed in % of the programmed value
in generic term 4 F85 can be obtained with the aid of this table. This value
must be programmed as a binary value in the byte speed reduction in %
(tracks 41-48).
