Job Summary
Plan and manage PM/CM work orders, planned and unplanning outages and respond to the emerging
needs effectively. Responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, overhauling of gas turbine, steam turbines,
generators, compressors, pumps, boilers, gear boxes, cooling towers, valves, fans and other equipment’s
in accordance with OEM recommendations and best practices. Strictly adheres to all safety and
environment rules and regulation to protect employees and contractor’s safety.

1. Mechanical Maintenance Technician

Iam working with GE O&M at Halmore Power Generation Company Ltd (225MW CCPP) as a Mechanical
Technician from 21 Jan 2019 to present. This plant consists of two 6FA GE Gas turbines (1×75MW) and
one NUOVO PIGNONE Steam turbine (75MW).
Job Responsibilities
• Performed combustion inspection, hot gas path inspection, major inspection, borescope
inspection with third party (Field Core) of Gas and Steam turbine Steam turbines.
• Carried out Gas turbine inlet guide vanes calibration at different angles with bevel protector.
• Gas turbine hydraulic oil and Steam turbine control oil Accumulators pressure testing performed.
• Carryout Gas turbine CBVs dismantle replace gasket, seat ring and adjust the valve.
• Carryout Gas & Steam turbines lube oil analysis and internal inspection of tank.
• Carried out PM, troubleshooting, parts replacement of Atlas Copco and Ervor compressors.
• Performed PM of cooling towers, overhauling, inspection, fan degree adjustment.
• Carryout heat exchangers HX (plate, shell and tube) cleaning and gasket replacement.
• Performed PMs, overhauling, troubleshooting, ARV inspection of boiler feed water pumps
(SULZER & KSB) and performed alignment between pump and motor.
• Carryout solo run test of motor and done monitoring of parameters (Vibration, Temperature).
• Perform HRSG hot gases path and drums inspection, ultrasonic test, DPT, tubes cleaning and
leakage rectification.
• Develop a condition-based maintenance culture on day to day basis by conducting
troubleshooting and root cause analysis, finding solution to reduce reactive maintenance.
• Planning & arrangements for manpower resources for plant outages and maintenance.
• To carry out toolbox talk & safety talk before starting the job and witnessing the system final
boxup.
• Monitor & inspect all critical equipment to reduce maintenance cost and to improve operational
efficiency
 • Identify material/spare parts requirement for the maintenance activities, facilitate the
procurement of stocks by participating in the technical evaluations.
• Carry out general inspection and mechanical preservation work within the equipment as per
check sheet and attached procedure.
• To receive the permit to work as competent person (CP) after confirmation of proper
isolation andactivity base risk assessment.
• Full understanding of safety protocols, procedures and LOTO systems.
• Preparing work maintenance schedule and daily work request and maintain equipment history,
vibration, thermotherapy, temperature and report record for equipment.
• Having good knowledge in computer application, updating for daily work in CMMS.
• Demonstrated ability to read drawings, P&IDs and technical manuals.
• Maintain EHS trainings.

2. Assistant Mechanic (Boiler & Turbine)

I have worked in Nishat Power Ltd (200mw CCPP) Pattoki Pakistan from 16 Jan 2017 to 17 Jan 2019. This
plant consists of 11 HRSG (1×7.8 Ton) and one Dresser Rand steam turbine 16MW.
Job Responsibilities
 Maintain equipment by tightening fittings, replacing, valve packing, gaskets, valves, cleaning,
oiling, lubricating other components parts, and gauges.
 Read gauges record data such as temperature, vibrations of equipment, hours of operation,
pressure and fluid level.
 Assist with performing root cause analysis (RCA) of failures.
 Utilize the facility computerized maintenance management system (CMMS)
 Carryout heat exchanger (plate, shell and tube) overhauling.
 Carryout steam turbine condenser cleaning inspection, anode/cathode plate replacement.
 Carryout Soot blowers overhauling, fault finding, troubleshooting and leakage rectified.
 Carryout Boiler feed pump PM and overhauling.
 Carryout taking vibration and alignment of all rotary pumps.
 Complete all work safely and follows all company policies and procedures regarding safety
completion of work.
 To perform JSA and TRA before starting the job.
 Ensuring that all tools are properly utilized keeping.
 Preparing work maintenance schedule and daily work request and maintain equipment.

3. Trainee Technician Mechanical

I have worked with GE O&M Etimaad Engineering ltd at Sapphire Electric Company 234MW CCPP
Sheikhupura from, 21 Sep 2014 to May 2015. This plant consists of two 6FA GE Gas turbines (1×75MW)
and one Skoda Steam turbine (84MW).
Job Responsibilities
 During my job was associated with routine maintenance, overhauling, testing and fault finding
of mentioned equipment.
 Perform routine and preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment.
 Dismantle machines and equipment to remove and replace parts.
 Carryout cooling towers, inspection, lube oil replacement, degree, media and nozzles
replacement.
 Responsible for safe execution of job.
 Carryout steam turbine auxiliary systems maintenance.
 Carryout water treatment plant and its auxiliary system maintenance.
 Carryout alignment of all rotary equipment.
 Keeping tools and workplace clean on daily basis.
  To ensure proper safety during the execution of the job.

4. Assistant Fitter
I have worked in Flying Paper & Board Mills Sheikhupura from Feb 2012 to August 2014.

 Troubleshoot emergency equipment failures
 Removal and installation of equipment.
 Log and record reading for equipment for equipment and procedures.
