What does Coca Cola do for the environment?

 Coca-Cola says it implements strategies and new
technologies to reduce the environmental impact of its
operations. However, it has also been criticized for
being the world's biggest plastic polluter.

THE ENVIRONMENT?
In January 2018, Coca-Cola announced its global commitment "World
Without Waste." This commitment raised, among others, the demanding
goal of collecting and recycling by 2030 the equivalent of each of the
bottles, cans or packaging produced worldwide.

Strive to create packaging containing at least 50% recycled material

1 by 2030; Continue to work towards the goal of all consumer

packaging being 100% recyclable by 2025. As of 2018, 85% of the
target has been achieved.

In the different Coca Cola cedes around the world they do different
projects such as Mexico, Costa Rica and Spain
 MEXICO
Mexico City, June 5, 2019.- At Coca-Cola FEMSA we have a
sustainability strategy through which we promote the development of
initiatives to contribute to the care of the environment through the use of
clean energy, waste management, promotion of recycling and water
care.

COSTA RICA
In Costa Rica, the reduction in the use of fossil fuels, responsible use of
water quality and care, adequate consumption of electrical energy,
optimal management of solid waste, and reduction of environmental
impact through sustainable purchases are managed.
 SPAIN
They reduce their emissions throughout their value chain by 30% by
2030 with the goal of being a net zero emissions company by 2040. And
they will do so in five main areas: ingredients, packaging, operations,
transportation, and refrigeration equipment.
 TIPS
Separate the garbage in plastic, paper, glass, aluminum
and organic.
Save water by closing the tube when we do not need it.
In the restaurants request Coca Cola in glass container
and not plastic
do not use the car so much, start using the bicycle more.
do not buy bottled water, always take a thermos with
you.
do not use the dryer, let the clothes dry in the sun.
turn off electronic devices you are not using.
