Unit 1 : Hobbies Level :2
Topic : First Day Instruction Teacher : Noeurm Senghak
Concept to be taught: Introduction, introduce the center policy, school discipline
Materials : Classroom discipline, Student’s information handouts, score sheet guide
Lesson Description: This lesson is written to allow students to know each other, classroom discipline, center
policies, and midterm scores. First, teacher introduces himself to students. Next, they take note some important
center policy and classroom discipline. After that, they identify the use of textbook, survival sentences, and the
midterm scores. Finally, they play Snowball Game in order to know each other.

Objective Method / Activities


• Introduction - Greeting
- Checking students’ attendance
- Welcome to students
- Checking students’ name spelling
- Let students to introduce themselves to the class

• Tell students about the center policy - Only English used in the class
and classroom discipline - Be punctual
- Respect the center, teachers and friends
- The vehicle park
- Students’ work response

• Guide the text books used in study - The textbooks will be provided for everyone used in
time the study time
- Do not draw/writing something down in the textbook
- Do not fold the textbooks
- Collect them back to the teacher at the end of the class

• Teach some simple sentences for using - Excuse me! Where is the office?
in the classroom and center - I want to change the study time?
- I want to buy a workbook?
- I am in level ….. at ….. in room……
- My teacher’s name is ……….
- May I go to the bathroom?
- What does the word “interesting” mean?
- What is “បងប��នជីដូនមួយ” in English?
- Can you explain this point again?
- I’m not sure.
- I’m kidding.
