Topic : Grammar Teacher : Noeurm Senghak
Concept to be taught: 1. Grammar: Comparative adjectives
Materials : Handouts (Speaking questions, Grammar lesson, practice, homework)
Lesson Description: This lesson is written to allow students to identify Comparative adjectives. First, they
identify the form and use of Comparative Adjectives in Exercise 3A. Second, they complete the sentences in
Exercise 3B individually after the teacher’s explanation. Then they ask and answer questions using the pictures
and clues in Exercise 3C with their partners. After that, they ask and answer the questions to complete the chart
in Exercise 3D on pages 94 and 97 in pairs after modeling given by the teacher. Finally, they talk with a partner
about things in the classroom by using comparative adjective.

Objective Method / Activities


Warm up: Answer the questions after -Tr provides question handout to ss. Then gives instruction
teacher’s explanation followed by pair -Let them work in pair to ask and answer the questions

B. Complete the sentences in Exercise Part B

2. Writing: Shopping online and shopping in stores (Making a T-chart)
Materials : Pictures in textbook, Handouts (Grammar quiz, Listening quiz, Reading homework)
Lesson Description: This lesson is written to allow students to practice reading for identifying details and
writing about making a T-chart. First, they answer the question in Exercise 4A individually while scanning the
article. Second, they complete the chart with the details about the types of stores in the blog in Exercise 4B
individually while reading the article after vocabulary clarification. Then they complete the chart with the
details about the types of stores in the blog in Exercise 4B. After that, they complete the chart about buying
clothing online and in stores in Exercise 4C individually after studying the Writing Skill Box. Next, they write a
paragraph about buying clothing online and in stores in Exercise 4D using the information from Exercise 4C.
Finally, they talk with a partner about what they write in Exercise 4D after teacher’s instruction.
