RESOLUTION NO. 2023-003

A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE SCHOOLS DIVISION SUPERINTENDENT TO

INCLUDE THE REGULAR AND SPECIAL MEETINGS OF THE PROVINCIAL
FEDERATION OF PARENT TEACHERS ASSOCIATION (PFPTA) AS ONE OF THE
DIVISIONS’ ACTIVITIES AND APPROPRIATE FUNDS THERETO.

WHEREAS, the Provincial Federation of Parent Teachers Association (PFPTA) plays a

crucial role in fostering collaboration between parents, teachers, and the school community;

WHEREAS, regular and special meetings of the PFPTA contribute significantly to the
enhancement of the overall educational experience and welfare of students in our division;

WHEREAS, recognizing the importance of the PFPTA meetings, it is imperative to

include them as part of the official activities organized by the Schools Division;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the PFPTA formally requests the

Schools Division Superintendent to include the regular and special meetings of the Provincial
Federation of Parent Teachers Association (PFPTA) as integral components of the division's
activities;

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that necessary funds be appropriated to support and

facilitate the successful organization and conduct of the PFPTA meetings within the division;

BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED, that copies of this resolution be transmitted to the

Schools Division Superintendent for immediate action.
