Roles and Responsibilities

 QC documentation for handling over to the client Witnessing of WPS, PQR
 Ensure the correct WPS and Welders utilized on the specified jobs.
 Carried out UT and DPT Testing for Power plant turbine plate.
 Thickness gauging on in pipe , Tanks ,Boiler , Head exchanger and columns As per Isometric Drawing
 Monitoring of Earth Mat Rods Welding activities of total Site Grid & Equipment Earthing.
 Welding & Inspection (Including NDT Methods) activities.
 Reading and interpreting the various drawings (P&ID, Isometric & Spooling) required in the piping.
 Using TR Probe for corrosion analysis on Pipe , Vessel
 Ultrasonic inspection for lamination checking of plate and structural plate
 Ensure the correct WPS and Welders utilized on the specified jobs 
 Monitoring welding activities before and during fabrication are performed as required by WPS.
 Conducting and witnessing the welder qualification skill test in accordance with the approved WPS and
prepare Welder performance qualification record ( WQT).
 Coordinating with clients for QC issues and coordinate with third party inspection agencies for offering
the stages as per Inspection Testing Plan (ITP).
 Preparing QC documentation for handling over to the client and maintaining proper filling system. 
 Carried out Ultrasonic Testing for Wind Mill Towers.
 Carried out Magnetic Particle Testing and Dye Penetrant testing on pipe , vessel and storage tank.
 Prepare NDE request for joints which have been visually accepted as required by the NDE plan

 Monitoring of welding parameters as per applicable WPS requirements & Project requirements

 Dye Penetrant Inspection on ss tubes , weld grooves & nozzles , Heat exchanger tubes , boiler tubes and structural.
 Carried out MPI – Florescent methods in side Vessels, Heat Exchangers, Column and all Type of tanks.
 Carried out ultrasonic testing of Lamination & Corrosion Checking and all type of Weld joints , Such as Column,
vessel, pipe joints, Steam drum, Towers and Structural welds inspection in Plant and Fabrication shop
 Electrode control & baking control as per procedure.
 Preparing QC documentation for handling over to the client and maintaining proper filling system.
 Ultrasonic inspection Final documentation .
 Ensuring that equipment/materials received are in accordance with the quantity & quality. 
 Lead and/or support groups of technicians and engineers.
 Supervision of Welding and NDT personnel.
 Visually inspecting the weldments in structural and piping.
 Ensure the correct WPS and Welders utilized on the specified jobs.
 DPT and MPT Final documentation .
 Preparation and submission of Reports & Co-ordination with clients
 Comply with the Health, Safety and Environmental Policies.
 Strictly followed the company safety procedure rules and regulations on site.
