In the process of completing this coursework, I have realized that every teacher should be all-rounded and
equipped with adequate skills of educating others as well as self-learning. As a future educator, we need
make sure that our knowledge is always up-to-date and applicable in the process of teaching and learning
from time to time. With these skills, we will be able to improvise and improve the lesson and therefore
boost the competency of pupils in the process of learning. In the process of planning a lesson, I have
changed my perception on lesson planning from the student’s desk to the teacher’s desk. I have taken the
responsibility as a teacher to plan a whole 60-minutes lesson with my group members. In this activity, you
will realize the hardships being experienced by all the teachers. From preparing the lessons that you will
teach, the materials to be needed and the presence of mind to the time of applying and performing what
is in the lesson plan, even though you are tired, even if you have problem, you have to make sure that your
students are learning.
As we have experienced, since we were not a graduate of any Education course, it is new to us this kind of
situation. Making lesson plan and applying it, was not an easy task. You have to prepare well to have a best
outcome. During our Demo Teaching Activity, we do encounter some problems like fitting the schedule to
the free time of the students but gladly, we have encountered it and finished task successfully. My two
groupmates were easy to work with and very cooperative that is why we developed and finished the
activity in a calm and favorable manner. I would like to thank them for cooperating very well and
congratulate them for a job well done. Also, Thank You to Sir Vergel for letting us experienced this kind of
activity as we prepare to enter in the world of teaching.
