OSCA ASSIGNMENT

DISPLAY

ASUS ROG ZEPHYRUS 16-inch display is a huge upgrade for modern-day laptops it makes a
difference and the change is needed because before 2021 was an anomaly for laptops now it has
become more popular and common which focuses on hybrid work and shared PC and design
changes that upsize the device even on a larger screen it is mostly used for editors and gamers
due to its high resolution which determines dimensions of a display in terms of pixels. It is
usually quoted as width x height. For example, high definition (HD) resolution is 1280 x 720
pixels. Similarly, there are many other display resolutions, some more common than others but
for the ASUS ROG ZEPHYRUS, they used QHD (2560 x 1600) which is higher than the (HD)
Resolution which means more pixels and a sharper image QHD also referred to as QUAD HD
measures 2560 x 1440 pixels at a 16:9 aspect ratio and is a step up from full HD (1920 x 1080p).
But it sits below UHD (or Ultra HD, 3840 x 2160 pixels) in the resolution hierarchy. The QHD is
sometimes also called 1440p or 2K./ along with UHD which is also supported by the ASUS
ROG ZEPHRUS with 240Hz refresh rate at FHD providing a smooth gaming experience that can
even challenge PC, 100 percent DCI-P3 color gamut. The Zephyrus Duo 16 really shows its
versatility when you take it on the go. The built-in secondary display means that you always have
a second screen available the 14.09-inch UHD (3840 x 1110), 120Hz refresh rate at 4K, IPS
level, touch-sensitive using anti-glare an anti-glare computer display makes sense because of the
layer coating to reflect light This allows you to use it in bright light settings, like when you’re
sitting near open windows or working outdoors, without a noticeable reflection even though it
can have some negative in the image quality by making it fuzzier or grainier in certain instances,
such as when displaying the color white and other light colors that why many computers use an
ultra-thin coating to minimize the reduction in color contrast and vibrancy. This allows you to
enjoy the benefits of reduced glare on your computer screen, without worrying about image
clarity issues. For example, whether you use your smartphone for work or pleasure for a
significant portion of the day, the anti-glare features will help you experience less eye strain. It's
annoying to deal with glare in harsher lighting, especially when working from home, watching
movies, or playing video games also anti-glare displays are easier to clean because of The thin
AR coating means fingerprints and other minor smudges don't get directly on the glass. You only
need a soft microfiber cloth and regular tap water to keep your screen pristine. Avoiding harsh
cleaning agents will prevent any damage to the AR coating or the screen's glass. Also, better
gaming, which is one of the main features of ASUS ROG ZEPHYRUS when you’re playing
games, glare can put a damper on the experience. Is there anything more irritating than missing a
gameplay moment due to glare? Probably not. Fortunately, an anti-glare screen reduces the
amount of both direct and ambient light that hits your screen. Plus, it reduces the amount of
visible dust, grease, and dirt on your display, so you enjoy your media without dealing with light
or grime it also provides vibrancy of deep colors which is great for those who intend to use their
anti-glare screen for hours on end for work or entertainment. Also, the ASUS ROG ZEPHYRUS
display contains Mini LED technology which is an advanced display that can provide a picture
that goes beyond Mini LED technology is a cutting-edge display technology that backlights
using tiny LED components. When compared to conventional LED displays, this can lead to
greater contrast ratios, more accurate color reproduction, and superior HDR (High Dynamic
Range) performance with Better HDR Performance providing a wider range of brightness levels
and a higher contrast between light and dark areas are made possible by the capability to support
High Dynamic Range (HDR). With a scale of 500 NITS at the maximum brightness which helps
the HDR to perform allowing you to see the full range of color details at its best with better
visuality in bright environments the outdoors or in a well-lit room also colors will look more
vibrant and like life while the 90Wh battery and USB Type-C™ charging can keep you powering
through work all day long. An IR camera with Windows Hello support makes unlocking the
machine a breeze.

DUAL SCREEN
ASUS ROG ZEPHYRUS DUO 16 dual screen is a 14.09-inch screen with 120HZor an esports-
primed FHD resolution with a 240Hz refresh rate. This is an excellent choice if you intend on
using your Duo 16 for both work as well as competitive gaming in comparison too other modules
of the same laptop the ASUS ROG ZEPHYRUS screen provides better visual continuity between
the displays This can be attributed to the new positioning of the Screen Pad Plus unlike previous
modules it can also be tilted up to 13-degree angle with the home 25mm closer too the primary
16-inch screen renders the bottom bezel almost invincible it makes multitasking easier by
keeping the main and important stuff on the primary screen along with the other stuff in the
second screen with this you can, for example, play games and watch a YouTube video at the
same time you can also chat with friends while handling the main screen on gaming or editing
even while working keeping the slack things away also because it is configured in windows as a
generic display that means you can use keyboard shortcuts to move apps from your main display
to the secondary screen or vice versa or snap them side to side if needed duo16 take just
milliseconds to do all this means the effect will have on users' productivity or gaming
performance is simply a guess. It's safe to say that all things considered, the experience will be
far more joyful.

KEYBOARD AND TRACKPAD

The ASUS ROG ZEPHYRUS DUO 16 mechanical keyboard can see that Fitting two glorious
displays into the Duo 16 has meant its trackpad is quite small—that’s despite Asus increasing its
size year-on-year. It’s also positioned at the far right-hand side of the laptop’s chassis, which
feels a bit awkward. with that it's not as ergonomic as many other laptops of this size everything
is pushed into the edge closest to the user there is no palm wrist area and the R2G does not
include the rest wrist with the main box and it definitely helps during pipping and mousing but
still users might find it uncomfortable or welcoming the keys of the keyboard on the other side
are good to use and feels satisfying Despite these small grievances, the keyboard is both very
comfortable and attractive. It sports spacious keys that are neither too bouncy nor too squishy,
with generous 1.7mm travel between them.

COOLING SYSTEM

The ASUS ROG ZEPHYRUS DUO 16 cooling system uses the AAS PLUS 2.0 with a wide 28.5mm

airflow intake with up to 30% more airflow and up to 3db less noise with Upgraded Conductonaut
Extreme Liquid Metal Thermal interface materials are necessary for powerful components like CPUs to
transfer their heat to the cooling system. With 17X more thermal conductivity than conventional thermal
pastes, Thermal Grizzly's Conductonaut Extreme lowers CPU temperatures by up to 15°C. This indium
and galium mix, used only by ROG, provides the maximum thermal transfer achievable on a laptop.
Furthermore, liquid metal will never dry out as regular pastes do, enhancing long-term stability With 0dB
Ambient Cooling, experience genuinely silent cooling under light workloads. When performing routine
operations, the cooling system turns off all fans to passively disperse heat in the Silent operating mode.
This reduces distractions so you can focus on your work and fully enjoy movies. When the temperature of
the CPU or GPU rises, the fans turn back on automatically. Close-up of the fans, ambient cooling at 0 dB,
and no interruptions along with
 5 COMPREHENSIVE HEATPIPES

ASUS ROG ZEPHYRUS DUO 16 uses 5 comprehensive heat pipes and quad heatsinks
for efficient dissipation across all internal components more heatpipes mean more
efficient heat transfer, and unlike simpler designs which only cover the CPU and GPU,
this layout also draws heat away from the VRAM and voltage regulation modules for
better system stability.

 0.1MM ULTRA THIN FIN FOR WIN

Thermal energy is dissipated by four heatsinks, each lined with ultrathin copper fins as
slim as 0. 1mm. These fins are half the size of typical solutions, allowing for higher heat
dissipation with lower air resistance. Up to 252 heatsink fins total 110,328mm* of surface
area.

 TARGETED AIRFLOW WITH INTERNAL BLAST COOLING

Internal Blast Cooling uses precisely calculated cutouts in the fan chamber to direct airflow
toward internal components. When compared to more traditional designs, this allows for
more efficient cooling, reducing CPU and GPU temperatures by up to 6°C. Lower
temperatures mean higher sustained boost clocks during intense gaming sessions.

 ARC FLOW FANS (MOVE MORE AIR WITH LESS NOISE)

The slim chassis leaves little room for cooling, so we enhance every aspect of our Arc
Flow fans.

Traditional fan blades have a single thickness from base to tip. Our 84-blade Arc Flow
Fans™™ have a variable thickness design, down to 0.1mm at the tip.

This approach reduces resonance and turbulence, moving up to 13% more air.*
*Compared to the previous 83-blade ROG fan design, as tested internally by ASUS
