COURSE DESCRIPTION

Ang kursong ito ay nakatuon sa dekriptibong pag-aaral ng WIkang Filipino sa lebel ng fonolohiya, morfolohiya, semantics at sintaktiks. nakasentro ang pag-aaral sa mga beysik
na konsepto at prinsipyo ng wika. bibigyan pansin ang metod at tyuri na gumamit sa pag-aanalays ng mga wika sa Pilipinas.

GOALS OF THE GRADUATE SCHOOL

OBJECTIVES OF THE GRADUATE SCHOOL


To ensure definite progress and directed education, the Graduate School Department shall have the following objectives;
1. Pursue the quest for quality and excellence in Graduate Education through production, dissemination, and utilization of functional researches;
2. Promote professional growth and development of graduate faculty competence by enhancing their research capabilities.
3. Establish strategic linkages with other institutions for support such as sponsorship and scholarship.
4. Review the curriculum and determine its relevance to the trends of the time; and
5. Create more active and responsive graduate students for national development by extending literacy to under privileged children.

OBJECTIVES OF THE MASTER OF ARTS IN EDUCATION (MAED) PROGRAM


➢ Update and enrich teachers’ content knowledge in a specific area or professional subject;
➢ Enhance and expand teachers’ theoretical and technical knowledge for teaching a specific subject area or professional area: and
➢ Develop the teachers’ research capabilities for replicating, verifying, validating, contextualizing and or applying theoretical and practical knowledge about different
aspects of educational process (CMO no. 53, series of 2007)

OBJECTIVES OF MAED MAJOR IN FILIPINO


1. Magkaroon nang malawak na kabatiran sa pag-aaral ng linggwistikang Filipino
2. Maunawaan at maipaliwanag ang katuturan ng mga mahahalagang katawagan sap ag-aaral ng linggwistika.
3. Matalakay ang kasaysayan ng Linggwistika sa Daigdig at Pilipinas.
4. Makapagpaliwanag ng mga pagbabagong nagaganap sa larangan ng ortograpiyang Filipino
5. Makagawa ng pananaliksik sa mga pagbabago sa linggwistikang Filipino.

3. A graduate shall be marked tardy if he/she arrives in the class 15 minutes after the start of the scheduled time.
4. A graduate shall be marked absent from the class if he/she arrives 30 minutes after the scheduled time.
5. a graduate student may leave the classroom if the professor comes 15 minutes after the start of the scheduled time, unless the professor concern gane prior notice of coming
late.
6. A graduate student who obtained a grade of Inc. has to complete his/her requirements within the school year. If not his/her grade will be change to 5.0 (failed)
