(Hereinafter referred to as the contractor)

1. THE PARTIES AGREE AS FOLLOWS:
The producer engages the services of the contractor as follows:
1.1 Production: musical group.
1.2 Venue – Emperor palace
1.3 Engagement/Service: vocalist

Remunerations:

• Payment R500 .

1.5 Food & Refreshments : The contractor will only provide lunch for the performance day.

1.6 Travel Expenses: Artists will have to handle all their traveling expenses to rehearsals.
1.7 Late Coming & Absence : Late coming will not be tolerated unless there is a valid reason
with proof. Absence is only tolerated if a doctor’s note is presented or if the artist has a valid
reason with some sort of proof.
 1.8 Failure to adhere to the given rules will lead to the termination of the contract between
the artist and the contractor.

2 Terms of engagement:
2.1 The contractor is engaged by the producer for the Engagement/service
described in clause 1.4 above during the period of Engagement. The contractor’s
engagement is for exclusively for the production.
2.2 The contractor shall perform his/her service under this agreement in a diligent,
faithful, prompt and punctual.
2.3 The Contractor shall comply with the rules of any theatre at which he/she may
be providing service and all rules, regulations, policies and producers made by
the producer insofar as they do not conflict with the terms of this agreement.
2.4 The producer shall be entitled, by twenty four hours (24) written notice to the
contractor, to terminate this agreement and the contractor shall be entitled, by
twenty-four (24) written notice to the producer, to terminate this agreement.
2.5 Should the contractor wish to terminate in accordance with clause 1.9 above,
the producer shall be obliged to introduce to the production with a replacement
who will contract with the producer on terms set out herein, prior to the
contractor terminating this agreement, failing which any such notice of
termination by the contractor shall avoid of a force of effect.
2.6 The contractor agrees and undertakes:
2.7 To render service based on a given period unless otherwise agreed between the
producer and the contractor. This means the contractor is allowed to work
anywhere for as long they agree with the producer on his/her flexible date on
time so that the producer can get a replacement for that period of time.

3. METHOD OF PAYMENTS:

The producer shall make arrangements to pay the contractor into his/her bank account by
electronic transfer. The contractor must supply accurate bank details in good time to enable these
payments to be made .
