01.04.23 New academic session 2023-24 for classes I to XII began.
12.04.23 A short programme celebrating Ordination day of Fr.Rakesh was organized. 20.04.23 A beautiful programme was put up on the occasion of Eid celebration. Also distributed medals and certificates to the winners of Unified Council Science Olympiad by Fr.Lawrence, Sr. Jyothis and Fr. Rakesh. 24.04.23 The XXIII edition of ‘JYOTI’, the school magazine was released. Dr.Vijay Shankar Mishra was the chief guest. 25.04.23 Commerce Club of St. Thomas Sr. Sec. School set up a ‘Jal Mandir’ as part of its social service. Mr. Nilesh Jain (Sabhavati, Jal Vibhag) inaugurated it. Malaria Day was also celebrated. Dr. Deepa Pathak (Dist. Malaria officer), and Dr. Satish Gand (Dist. Health Officer) were the chief guests. Certificates to the winners of various competitions such as Drawing (I to V), Poster Making (V to VIII) and Slogan writing (IX to XII) which were held prior to the occasion were distributed by the dignitaries. 27.04.23 A memorable farewell was given to Mr. Venugopal Nair, PGT Accountancy. Rev. Fr.Lawrence and Rev.Sr. Jyothis congratulated and thanked him for his dedicated service of 21 years and wished a healthy and pleasant retirement life. A time to energise and enrich. Summer holidays started. 15.06.23 School reopened after the summer break. 17.06.23 CBSE resource persons Dr.Megha Shrivastav and Ms.Mamta Bhattacharjee conducted workshop on Life Skills for the teachers. 18.06.23 An official staff meeting was convened. Fr.Virendra Babhor, Sr. Minnoti and the new members of the staff were given a warm welcome. 19.06.23 Workshop on NEP 2020 was conducted by Mr. Sourabh Vishwakarma (CBSE resource person) for the teachers. 20.06.23 The school became lively as the students of VI to XII are back after the summer vacation. A small prayer meeting was conducted to invoke the blessings of the Almighty. Rev. Fr. Lawrence, the Manager and Rev. Sr. Jyothis, the Principal, welcomed the students. 21.06.23 Observed International Yoga Day. 24.06.23 Selection for various sports items for the Annual Sports Day. 26.06.23 Observed International Day against drug abuse. 28.06.23 Conducted Declamation competition and Quiz on G 20 Summit for classes IX-XII and VI-VIII respectively. 01.07.23 A warm welcome was given to Ex-student Aditi Maheswari, International Hockey player. She interacted with the students motivating and inspiring them. CA Day was also observed. A seminar for commerce students by CA Ayush Maheswari, CA Prajvi Nahata and CA Arpit Mehta was organized. 03.07.23 The Patron’s Day was celebrated. A special prayer was conducted to invoke heavenly blessings through the intercession of St. Thomas. Class X and XII CBSE toppers (2022-23) were awarded with certificates and shields. 11.07.23 World Population Day acknowledged. 15.07.23 The Feast of Our Lady of Mt.Carmel, the mother of Jesus Christ, was celebrated a day in advance. 17.07.23 Investiture Ceremony was held. The newly elected members were given sash and badge. Mr.Anurag Sujania, S.P.Mandsaur administered the oath of office to the Head Boy, Devanshu Sangwani and the Head Girl, Shagufta Behlim, the Vice Head Boy, Sarthak Bhatnagar, the Vice Head Girl ,Kirti Chandwani, along with the House Captains ,Vice Captains and discipline leaders. 22.07.23 Handwriting Competition for classes III to V, Single Dance Competition for classes VI to VIII and Solo Singing Competition for classes IX to XII were conducted. 26.07.23 The Feast of the heavenly patron St.Anne of Rev. Sr. Jyothis, the Principal, was celebrated fervently. Rev.Fr.Lawrence spoke on the occasion and invoked the blessings of the Almighty through the intercession of St.Anne. The day was also observed as Kargil Vijay Diwas. 28.07.23 Periodic Test I for classes I to X and Unit Test I for classes XI and XII started. 01.08.23 Celebrated Green Day. Students of Eco Club planted saplings in the school premises. 05.08.23 Seminar on proper care of eye by a team of doctors and social service group of Jain community. 07.08.23 Vocabulary Test for the month of July. 10.08.23 Feast day of Fr.Lawrence, the manager, was celebrated with pomp and fervor. 12.08.23 Conducted speech competition for classes III to VIII. 15.08.23 The 77th Independence Day was marked by a spectacular display of cultural items depicting India’s glorious and rich heritage. The Chief Guest of the function, Dr.Surendra Kumar Sharma (Retired Inspector General, BSF) hoisted the National flag. He exhorted the students to inculcate the spirit of nationalism. 18.08.23 Debate competition for classes IX to XII on the topic ‘Artificial Intelligence’ was conducted. 19.08.23 Result of the Periodic Test I and the Unit Test I announced. Photography competition was held for classes VI to XII. 26.08.23 Observed Women’s Equality Day and Paryushan Parv. Bagless Day- a day for learning by doing- was also organized. Members of Commerce Club arranged food stalls and fun games to raise money for S5. Various activities like sports competition, Art-Integrated activities, Science Exhibition, Discussions in the class based on Chandrayan and Mission Mangal marked the day. Vocabulary Test for the month of August was conducted. 29.08.23 Observed National Sports Day. Feast of St.Euphrasia was also celebrated. 02.09.23 Conducted Extempore speech for classes VI to VIII and IX to XII in Hindi and English respectively. 04.09.23 Vocabulary Test for the month of August. 05.09.23 Teachers Day was celebrated with pomp and show by the students expressing their love and respect towards their teachers. Observed feast of St.Mother Teresa. 08.09.23 International Literacy Day and Bhasha Sangam were beautifully celebrated conveying the importance of language and literacy. An Art Integrated Exhibition of classes III to X. Creative and innovative models and projects on various subjects were showcased by the students. Class XII Science students presented the landing of ‘Chandrayan 3’on the moon as part of their Art integrated activity. 09.09.23 Conducted Talent show for classes VI to XII and Single Dance Competition for classes III to V with vigour and enthusiasm. 14.09.23 Celebrated Hindi Diwas to emphasise the need and importance of Hindi in our day-today life. 15.09.23 A seminar on ‘Awareness on T.B.’ was organized for the students. 16.09.23 Commencement of Quarterly Exam for classes XI-XII and Nursery and KG., Class Test for classes III to VIII, Periodic Test II for classes IX- X. 30.09.23 A short programme was organised to commemorate Gandhi Jayanti in advance. 03.10.23 The Social Service Club organized ‘Caring by Sharing’ in which students from classes III -XII contributed non-perishable items like stationary, grocery etc. so generously and distributed among fifty five families. From the S5 collection, two sewing machines and two Thela Gadi were also bought and distributed to four needy people. A cleanliness drive was also conducted. The students along with the Principal and teachers cleaned the school premises and the road in front of the school. Vocabulary Test for the month of September was conducted. 07.10.23 Result of Quarterly exam, PT-II and Class Test for classes Nursery to XII announced. Rehearsal for the Annual Sports Meet. 11.10.23 Observed International Girl Child Day. 13.10.23 Final rehearsal for the Annual Sports Meet. 14.10.23 15th Annual Sports Meet-“Towards Proficiency”- was graced by Rev.Fr.Peter Karadi (Administrator, Jhabua Diocese), Mr.Mir Ranjan Negi (Former Indian Hockey player and national coach), Mr.Dileep Kumar Yadav, Fr.Kennedy Thomas, Mrs.Deepika Jain (PTA president) March Past, Dances, Aerobics, Yoga and Karate performances attracted the audience. Final events of athletic items like race, relay, hurdles race, tug of war for parents were also conducted. Blue house won the trophy with 670 points. 16.10.23 Medals and certificates were awarded to the winners of each sports items of Annual sports Meet by Fr.Lawrence, Fr. Virendra and Sr.Jyothis. 01.11.23 Celebrated Madhya Pradesh foundation Day. G.K. Quiz on Madhya Pradesh was held for classes VI to VIII. 04.11.23 Greeting card making competition on the occasion of Diwali for classes III- VIII 09.11.23 The school celebrated Deepawali, festival of lights and colours with religious fervor. Organised Rangoli making competition for classes IX-XII. Children’s Day was celebrated in advance. A colourful programme was staged by the teachers to cheer up the students. On this occasion,the school organised Magic show and ‘Garba event’ for classes III-VIII and IX –XII respectively. 21.11.23 Guru Nanak Jayanti was celebrated in advance. The students of Scouts and Guides and NCC who have been to Delhi to meet President Droupadi Murmu on the occasion of Children’s Day were honoured with memento, medals and certificates. Mr.Anurag Sujania ,S.P.Mandsaur was the chief guest of the programme. The School band was also appreciated and given certificates and medals. 23.11.23 Half-yearly Exam for classes Nursery to X and XI- XII and Periodic Test III for classes IX & X were began. 25.11.23 Conducted Drawing competition and Handwriting competition (English & Hindi) for classes VI- VIII and III-V respectively. 01.12.23 World AIDS Day was observed. A rally of students of classes IX and XI along with Principal and teachers was organized to spread the awareness. Dr.Nishantsharma (Dist.Nodal Officer) inaugurated the rally. International Day of Disabled was also observed. Ordination day of Fr.Lawrence, the Manager was also celebrated this day. 09.12.23 Observed International Anti-Corruption Day and Human Rights Day. 10.12.23 Inter-class Cricket match for senior boys and Throw Ball match for senior girls were conducted. 15.12.23 Result of Half-yearly exam and PT-III announced. Parents Teachers meeting was conducted. 16.12.23 An educational tour to NakhraliDhani, Indore was organized for the students of class XII. Story telling competition for classes III to V and Slogan writing completion for VI to VIII were conducted. 18.12.23 Observed Minorities Rights Day and International Migrants Day. Conducted drawing competition and Maths Olympiad for classes III to VIII and III to V respectively. 19.12.23 Conducted MathsQuiz , Christmas card making competition and star making competition for classes VI-VIII, III-VI and VII-VIII respectively. 20.12.23 Maths Exhibition was organized. Students of classes IX and XI beautifully showcased their models and activities. 22.12.23 Observed National Mathematics Day. Winners of Maths Olympiad, Quiz and Exhibition were given certificates. Christmas Tree competition for classes IX and XI was also conducted. 23.12.23 Christmas was celebrated with magnificent performance on the advent of Christ’s birth with carol singing, musical skit, lucky draw etc. Rev. Fr. Lawrence gave the Christmas message. 30.12.23 A workshop for two days by Life Solutions Academy was organized for the students of VII-XII on 29th and 30th December on the topic personality development and career guidance Mr.Pankaj Rajput was the resource person. 05.01.24 The school reopened after the winter holidays. Along with the New Year programme, Feast of St.Chavara was celebrated. Vocabulary Test for the month of December was conducted. 06.01.24 A Planetarium show was organized for the students. 08.01.24 Pre-Board Exam for classes X and XII started. 10.01.24 Periodic Test II for classes I to VIII, Unit Test II for class XI, and Class Test for class IX started. Observed World Laughter Day. 13.01.24 National Youth Day was celebrated in the school. Awareness to the youth through Street Show (Nukkad Natak) was organized in the city centre by class XI students. 15.01.24 Observed Makar Sankranti, Pongal and Indian Army Day. 19.01.24 Anam Khan of Class III D passed away due to illness. The school observed this day a holiday to pay tribute to the departed soul. 23.01.24 CBSE Board Practical Exam for class XII started. Two student representatives from class XI B participated in CBSE- PRERNA program in Jawahar Navodaya school, Laduna 25.01.24 Final Rehearsal for the Republic day. 26.01.24 The 75th Republic Day was celebrated with patriotic fervour. The chief guest Mr. Prakash Ratadiya, (Senior Advocate, Mandsaur), unfurled the National Flag. Dr.Ashok Solanki (Ophthalmologist, Mandsaur) was the guest of honour. Toppers of all classes were awarded proficiency prizes for their outstanding performance during the academic year 2022 – 23. School Band, NCC and cultural program won prizes at the cultural gathering in Mandasur. 27.01.24 Parents meeting. Result of Pre-Board, Unit Test II, and Periodic Test II announced. 30.01.24 Floral Tributes were paid to Mahatma Gandhi on Martyr’s Day. 01.02.24 Admission for classes Play Group, Nursery and KG I started.
