Theorem 3:
If 𝑓 is a differentiable function at 𝑥 and 𝐹(𝑥) = 𝑐 ⋅ 𝑓(𝑥), where 𝑐 is a constant, then 𝐹 is
differentiable at 𝑥 and 𝐹 ′ (𝑥) = 𝑐 ⋅ 𝑓 ′ (𝑥), that is, if 𝑓(𝑥) = 𝑐 ⋅ 𝑥 𝑛 , then 𝑓 ′ (𝑥) = 𝑐 ⋅ 𝑛𝑥 𝑛−1.
