Summary of original allegations:

It is alleged that on August 2020, used excessive force

Summary of key investigative findings:

On October 14, 2020, the Professional Standards Section received a BlueTeam Citizen Complaint Report (BTCCR)
alleging that on August 2020, used excessive force

During the course of the investigation, it was revealed that on August 2020, Bay Area Narcotics Enforcement Team
(BAYANET) executed a search warrant at D/Tpr/Specialist was assigned to
the Violent Crimes Task Force (VCTF) and was asked to assist with the execution of the search warrant as part of the
entry team.

Prior to the entry of the residence, the surveillance officer advised


the entry team that there was a carpet cleaning company working inside the residence and there were hoses stretching
from their company van into the residence.

During the complainant interview,

Several officers were interviewed and contend was not following D/Tpr/Specialist verbal commands
and pulled away from D/Tpr/Specialist when he made physical contact to escort out of the residence.
tripped over the hoses on the main level causing him to fall off of the porch and onto the ground level floor.
