A RESOLUTION EARNESTLY AND RESPECTFULLY REQUESTING

HONORABLE MARIA LOURDES NANCY S. BINAY, SENATOR, REPUBLIC OF
THE PHILIPPINES, FOR WHEELCHAIRS, CANES, CRUTCHES AND OTHER
ASSISTIVE DEVICES FOR THE USE OF PERSONS WITH DISABILITY (PWD) OF
THE MUNICIPALITY OF GUBAT, PROVINCE OF SORSOGON

WHEREAS, it is mandated by the Constitution that the state shall establish a special
agency for disabled persons for rehabilitation, self-development and self-reliance, and
their integration into the mainstream of society;

WHEREAS, despite continuous and further approach in the development and

integration of PWD in the community, immobility had long been hampered their
partaking;

WHEREAS, in order to address the challenges that deprives the sector of being an
integral part of society, it is imperative that such assistive devices are available at hand
to motivate them to play a part in the progress and development of the municipality;

NOW THEREFORE, on motion of Hon. Noe L. Endaya and duly seconded by Hon.
___________________________, it was;

RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved, earnestly and respectfully requesting Hon. Maria

Lourdes Nancy S. Binay, Senator, Republic of the Philippines, for Wheelchairs, Canes,
Crutches and other assistive devices for the use of Persons with Disability (PWD) of the
Municipality of Gubat, Province of Sorsogon;

RESOLVED FURTHER, that copy of this resolution be furnished Hon. Maria Lourdes
Nancy S. Binay, Senator, Republic of the Philippines, Rooms 523 & 14 (Extension), GSIS
Bldg., Financial Center, Diokno Boulevard, Pasay City, for her most favorable
consideration; and Hon. Ronnel U. Lim, Municipal Mayor, LGU-Gubat, Sorsogon, for
his information and guidance.
