Objectives
 Knowledge Classify whether the noun is countable or uncountable
 Skills Use count and mass nouns to create clear and coherent sentences
 Attitude Cooperate the group activity
Integration Demonstrate compassion and empathy by providing donations to the Igorot
people who are victims of a flood.

IV. PROCEDURES
A. Review/ - The teacher lets the class read a dialog.
Introductory
Activity Tom: What is in that box, Ben?
Ben: These are our donations to the Igorot people who are victims of flood.
Tom: What happened to them?
Ben: They don't have food to eat and clothes to wear.
Tom: What do you have there?
Ben: I have shirts, pants, dresses, and shoes.
Tom: Let me help you. Are all of these used?
Ben: Some items are new. Will you donate something, too?
Tom: Yes, we will donate rice, sugar, milk, coffee, and bottles of water.
Ben: Wow! That's good news.

- The teacher will ask the learners about what they understand about the dialog.

Ask:
Who are talking in the dialog? (Tom and Ben)
What are they talking about? (They talked about donating some goods for the Igorot people.)
What happened to the Igorot people? (They are victims of flood.)
What are the things inside Ben's box? (shirts, pants, dresses, and shoes)
Did Tom also donate something too? (Yes)
What are the things did Tom and his friends donate? (rice, sugar, milk, coffee, and bottles of
water)
If you were Tom and Ben? Will you do the same? (answers may vary)

Say: As a Filipino, it is part of our culture to be helpful in times of need. Even we are not
financially rich, but we are resourceful just like what Tom and Ben did. They showed love to
indigenous people like the Igorots. We need to

B. Activity/ - The teacher gives the learners illustrations with different items donated to the flood victims.
Motivation - She/He asks them to paste the illustrations on the board according to which they think these
items belong. (Noun that can be counted or Noun that cannot be counted)

C. Analysis/ - The teacher asks the class the following questions.
