1. Ensure all scaffolds are erected as per the standards outlined in the Dubai
Municipality Code of Construction Safety Practice and HSE Technical Guideline.
2. Scaffold erection/dismantling is always done by a competent scaffolding team and
inspected by a competent scaffolding Inspector and must be green-tagged before
work commencement.
3. Ensure edge barriers are to be provided at all times of work.
4. Only competent operators are allowed to work at height.
5. Always ensure the use of a full-body harness/fall protection system while working at
height.
6. Ensure that disciplinary action must be taken against the violators at the same time.
7. Refresher training to be provided to operatives regarding working at height.
8. The Permit to Work (PTW) system must be implemented for high-risk activities like
working at height, working on leading edges, lifting, and working at height, hot work,
confined space, working near live services, working near leading edge areas,
pressure test, shuttering/de-shuttering, etc.
9. All activities must comply with legal and contractual requirements related to
Environmental Health & Safety.
10. Ensure that the Project HSE Plan is perfectly implemented at the site.
