Functional Design Overview

 Business requirements for shipping multiple orders on a single shipment and or LPN

 For certain customer when there are multiple orders that are schedule to the same ship point
shipping would like to ship as one delivery.

 Main reason for opening this up is our Customer Menards is currently a ship and cancel
customer but if they switch back to ship and backorder. We would need to process these
backorders. The last time Menard’s was ship and back there to many backorder skids that had
very few parts on them.

Functional Business Requirements

 Scheduling
o Orders for these customers that need multiple orders in the same delivery will have to
be have the delivery must be created at the same time on the Distribution workbench
 General thought would be to query the customer’s orders up you want to have
consolidated delivery either thru the form or save query.
 Select the orders.
 Have new option to create consolidated deliveries. When this is select it will
create deliveries across orders going to same ship point. See below for option
the release job will need.
 Will have to create newv release rule and review all options needed
 Note there is several criteria that need to be meet. In order to consolidate
deliveries. Kevin to get us a list of these criteria
 We could keep list of these customer and issue warning if order selected and
normal delivery is chosen and warning when consolidated customer is chosen
for regular delivery
 Currently you are master BOL these and placing on a separate trip. Once the
consolidated delivery is made oracle should put these on the same BOL. You
should also be able to place them on the same trip as the rest of the orders on
the truck.

 Picking

K&V Functional/Technical Design and Install Documentation

o Would like to pick by order and then follow the pick path.
 Kevin thought this might be standard will need to test

 Labeling
o Shipment label
 The shipment label would have the word Multiple in the PO number.
o Contents list
 Separate contents list for each PO.
o Truck label and audit label stay the same.
o Packing list 1 per a PO.
 BOL
o Master BOL?
o Oracle naturally put these orders onto the same BOL?
 Will need to review print to make sure it can handle multiple.

 EDI ASN BOL

o This is where allot of development time spend last time
o Need to review how to handle Naviste has code for this
 Kevin checking on where this code is at
 Need to compare code
o Kevin to locate code and mark and tim to compare and see what differences there are

o
 Invoice testing
o
 From testing last time this needs to be set
o Profile option WSH: Pick Release Batch Size = 1000 to allow to combine

Installation Steps
Detail the change migration steps with applicable command lines and required permissions. The
executing team (e.g., DBAs) will refer to these steps precisely to migrate changes to target system
or instance.
Include location (CR) of code to be migrated to preclude incorrect code migration. Should not be
a prior testing instance as changes may have been made in that instance.
