Communication Barriers

Communication barrier is an obstacle happening to understanding or a condition in which

misunderstanding can be raised.

There are seven common communication barriers

1. Language Barriers: - This will occur if somebody use words that other people are
unfamiliar with.
2. Physical Barriers: - Physical barriers such as noise, distance, separate areas for people
of different statuses, time and etc.
3. Emotional Barriers: - Negative feelings we acquire about certain people, places and
situations. Fear of what others think about us.
4. Psychological Barriers:- Some people have stage fear, speech disorders, phobia,
depression etc
5. Cultural Barrier: - Dressing, Religions or lack of them, food, drinks and the general
behavior will different from place to place.
