REFLECTION

Throughout the seminar workshop on teaching multigrade classes, I gained valuable insights
from each speaker, contributing to a deeper understanding of this multifaceted teaching
approach.

The first speaker's exploration of lesson designing in multigrade teaching was eye opening. I
learned about the importance of flexibility and inclusivity in crafting lessons that accommodate
diverse learning abilities and preferences within a single classroom setting.

The second speaker's discussion on differentiated instruction illuminated the significance of


tailoring teaching methods to meet individual student needs. Understanding how to create a
supportive and engaging environment while addressing varying skill levels was a key takeaway.

The final speaker's insights into utilizing multigrade DLP and ILP provided practical strategies for
structured planning and personalized learning. Learning about effective ways to implement
Daily Lesson Plans and Individual Learning Plans highlighted the necessity of customized
approaches to ensure student success in a multigrade classroom.

Overall, the seminar provided me with a thorough knowledge of the challenges and methods
engaged in teaching multigrade classes. It recognized the necessity of flexible student-centered
teaching approaches in creating a welcoming and welcoming learning environment for all
students.
