TO WIN IN
SPIRITUAL WARFARE
SESSION 1 - Introduction
Empowered to win in Spiritual Warfare
We will entertain questions at particular times but keep your mic closed
until called upon to speak. Admins are always willing to clarify any
administrative queries.
Notes will be sent to all those who subscribed and paid. The notes of
each session will be sent via email by Thursday of the same week. Notes
could include, course notes, prayer instructions, training articles, etc.
Please have your Bible, and be prepared to take your notes as the Holy
Spirit will speak to you during the sessions.
Do not share links with anyone. Join the room with your name, if not
you will not be allowed into the Zoom classroom.
Because the souls of mankind and nations are now hanging in the balance, our
mission is
1. To be equipped with the power, wisdom, knowledge, fire, and strategy of
the Holy Spirit to see breakthroughs and deliverance in our life, family,
society, and nation
2. To be prepared, alert, and ready to reign and rule being the sons, priests,
and kings of God.
OBJECTIVE
To be trained and equipped with spiritual intelligence that will help us to
win in Spiritual warfare.
To be qualified and prepared to minister God’s divine power to mankind
and all creation, seeing them freed from the power of darkness. You shall
be energized and charged with the power of the Holy Spirit to
revolutionize yourself, your family, and your nation.
COURSE ASSIGNMENTS
1. Developing our prayer life is a must, therefore we are requested to spend
no less than two hours and forty minutes per day.
2. We must invite the Holy Spirit to be our best friend.
3. We should not just read the Bible but engage God through His Word by
revelation. This ensures victory every day and in every situation.
4. Daily we must live as a son. It is our only passport to conquer all evil.
COURSE TOPICS
The God of the universe does not lie and does not fail to keep His word.
Therefore, His promises are declarations of certainty. They are our eternal
currency; our gifts of hope and victory.
2 Peter 1:3-4 – Partakers of the divine nature
3 as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and
godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and
virtue, 4 by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious
promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature,
having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
QUESTION: Are there scripture promises that the Holy Spirit has given to you
for this year 2024?
These scripture promises of God are of such great value that merely possessing
them has already given us the right to participate in the "divine nature."
Therefore, we are recruited and empowered to know and understand the divine
nature of God which is in us.
QUESTION: What revelation and meaning do you have from these two verses
above?
“How you are fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How you are
cut down to the ground, you who weakened the nations! For you have said in
your heart: ‘I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of
God; I will also sit on the mount of the congregation on the farthest sides of the
north; I will ascend above the heights of the clouds, I will be like the Most
High.’ Yet you shall be brought down to Sheol, To the lowest depths of the Pit.”
To win in spiritual warfare, you need to understand the fall of your enemy. God
tells us the reason behind the fall of Babylon's literal and spiritual king. The fall
was prompted by his statements (his self-focused and self-obsessed life).
·I will ascend into heaven: It was as if Satan said, “Heaven will be my home
and my place of honour.”
·I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: “I will be enthroned and will
be exalted above all other angelic beings.”
·I will also sit on the mount of the congregation: “I will sit in the place of
glory and honour and attention.”
·I will ascend above the heights: “I will continue to rise, even in heaven, until
all see me in my bright shining glory.”
·I will be like the Most High: “I will be glorious, and be set equal to God, far
above all other created beings.”
Isaiah 28:6
He will be a spirit of justice to the one who sits in judgment, a source of
strength to those who turn the battle at the gate.
This phrase refers to pursuing the fleeing enemy even to the very gates of their
city. It is also used metaphorically to describe overcoming obstacles and
challenges in life.
1 John 4:4: "You are from God, little children, and have overcome them;
because greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world."
Isaiah 54:17: “No weapon that is formed against you will prosper, and
every tongue that accuses you in judgment you will condemn. This is the
heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their vindication is from Me,”
declares the LORD.
Psalm 18:39, ‘For You have girded me with strength for battle; You have
subdued under me those who rose against me
Deuteronomy 9:3 Know therefore today that it is the Lord your God who is
crossing over before you as a consuming fire. He will destroy them and He
will subdue them before you, so that you may drive them out and destroy
them quickly, just as the Lord has spoken to you.
Romans 8:37 In all these things, we are more than conquerors through
Him who loved us.
2 Thessalonians 3:3 But the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen you
and protect you from the evil one.
Luke 10:19 Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and
scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall hurt
you.
Matthew 18:18-19 Truly I tell you, whatever you bind on earth will be
bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in
heaven. Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about
anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven.
INTRODUCTION
Understanding spiritual warfare is crucial if we want to equip ourselves for the
battles ahead. It involves recognizing the spiritual forces that are at work in our
lives and learning how to fight and win against them. By engaging in spiritual
warfare, we can protect ourselves and our loved ones from harm, find
deliverance from bondage, experience healing, and gain strength and guidance
from the Lord.
If we are to survive these times, we must know the truth and the dynamics of
dominion, authority, and power. It is an indictment of who God is, His love,
grace, mercy, His power, and the salvation He offered for us as his body, his
sons, and his church to be still governed by God’s enemies.
It is not cute when we, as the church are not suffering for Jesus’ sake, but
suffering because of Satan’s dominance over us – his attacks, his arrows, his
embargoes, evil gates and covenants, his terror, pestilence, snares, snakes,
scorpions, witchcraft, his evil altars, and his demons are just some of Satan’s
arsenal that has been nailing us every time. When we think of His traps, cages,
and prisons that have so many people defeated, even in the body of Christ, we
have to ask ourselves some questions.
1. Where is our higher level of power?
2. Why are we not manifesting the victory that we so often brag about?
3. Why do we not understand and live the truth, the revelation of
redemption, sanctification, and justification?
4. Why is it that we do not know Jesus Christ and the power of His
resurrection?
5. Why is it that we are cheapening the blood of Jesus and downplaying
God’s kingdom by our living?
Many of us want God, we crave Him with so much passion and hunger, but we
are ignorant of the truth of who we are in Jesus Christ as a redeemed one.
We are confessing, that I can’t be sick or poor or limited. I am the head and not
the tail. I am more than a conqueror. When I am weak, then am I strong. I am
the lender and not the borrower. When I declare a thing, it shall be established.
We confess that victory is mine and that God has disarmed every principality
and power. We admit and know that we have superior weapons to any other
kingdom. We brag that greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world,
yet the reality is the opposite manifesting in our lives.
This is because of many reasons, namely that our foundation in Christianity did
not stress our life as one of dominance, for unless we function in the knowledge
of dominance, dominion power cannot work. Except we have the revelation of
everything that pertains to Jesus Christ; his coming, his salvation, his life;
except we truly know the significance of His death, burial and resurrection, his
ascension and enthronement, except we understand what we have become in
light of all these realities, we will never rise and win in spiritual warfare. We
will never become the champions in battle.
We must know the revelation of what Christ has done and what we are to do.
We must more importantly live dominion and its power in the earth more than
what is our responsibility. Life is a battlefield since Adam and Eve sinned, and
only those who understand the dominion, as given in the Garden of Eden and
the Garden of Gethsemane can win every battle and not live defeated lives.
The battle by Satan in these two Gardens was for territory in every sense
of the word. Fighting is for dominance. Look at his desire for dominance
in Isaiah 14:12-14 –
“How you are fallen from heaven, O [a]Lucifer, son of the morning!
How you are cut down to the ground, you who weakened the nations!
13
For you have said in your heart: ‘I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt
my throne above the stars of God; I will also sit on the mount of the
congregation on the farthest sides of the north; 14 I will ascend above the
heights of the clouds, I will be like the Most High.’
Satan has not lost his desires, his appetite, or his fight that is why he went
after mankind in Eden with the sole purpose of taking away his
demonomancy over the territory, called Earth. And
When Adam gave it over to Satan, now we have to fight the structures
and systems of hell to establish back our dominance, to establish control,
and to rule by authority in the heavens, the earth, and the water.
You will also notice from Isaiah 14 that warfare did not start with man, but it
was brought down to us. The same areas of attacks that Satan used back then are
the same ones that he uses now with greater intensity of evil and wickedness –
that is, he seeks dominance over our soul, body and spirit, because we can’t rule
and reign if we are his subjects, if we live as subordinates to him. No doubt
why Satan’s greatest tools are to keep us, the church, ignorant from
understanding dominion and its power. Hence, why Jesus’s coming was to give
us back the following:
1. Dominance over unclean spirits.
2. Dominance over sickness and diseases.
3. Dominance over territories and resources.
4. Dominion over witchcraft and all kinds of darkness.
In other words, Jesus’ coming was to give us back dominance and to empower
us through salvation to manifest dominion. But we misinterpret the revelation
of Jesus to only save us from sin and hell.
So, we remain weak and defeated, not because of Jesus Christ and what
he has done, nor any reflection of the Holy Spirit, but because our
fighting Satan in warfare does not connect with the truth of dominion.
Therefore, we go around in cycles of defeat and failure.
Remember failing is anything less than what God wants of us.
We must understand how to rule, why to rule, where to rule, and when to rule.
What the Church has done was to stress the war and not the master key to its
victory. We would ever so often dress in our spiritual armor, having all of our
powerful weapons, strategy, and all. We then take the challenge to the enemy
for ourselves, our family, and even our nation, attacking hell and punching
Satan but ending up on the floor. But why is that?
We are weak first in our mindset and ignorant in the simplest way to win.
So, we often fight, pray, and even confess the word of God from the lens
of weakness rather than from the place of being a King, who has
dominion and a son with a scepter and signet of the Most High God.
Prayer - God, in Heaven, distinguish my life in this season. Birth your glory
out of me in Jesus’ name.
