6. Title of the Project: IMPACT OF SATISFACTION AND RETENTION OF EMPLOYEES
WITH RESPECT TO FORTIS HEALTHCARE LTD
7. Introduction and Review of Literature: Human resource management is a commercial
discipline as well as an educational philosophy that deals with the practical and theoretical
aspects of managing a company's personnel. Human Resources Management (HRM operations)
encompasses a wide range of tasks "The most important of these is to figure out what the
organization's staffing requirements are and how to meet them, such as whether to recruit
employees or engage freelancing contractors to cover these requirements. "to hire and educate
the most basic staff," "to ensure that they're great performers," "to resolve performance
difficulties," and "to ensure that the organization's personnel and management processes
comply with changing regulations." The activities include managing the organization's
approach to employee records, worker pay and benefits, and personnel regulations.
8. Objectives of the Study:
1. To investigate the impact of employee satisfaction on staff retention at Fortis Hospital.
2. Determine the proportion of nursing department personnel that are satisfied.
3. To gather information on the creation of a retention plan.
4. To investigate the factors that impact Fortis Hospitals Ltd's nursing personnel retention.
5. Make plausible suggestions in order to keep the team together.

9. Research techniques and sources: Data that has never been published previously, i.e., data
gathered directly from the first resources via observation, experiments, and surveys, with a
sample size of 100, from a new or original research project. This is info that has been obtained
straight from Fortis Healthcare and is accurate. Primary Sources is the term for it.
Secondary data is information that has previously been acquired for another purpose or
research findings by someone or an organization. Secondary data is available in company
annual reports, magazine articles, publications, and a variety of web site-only portals.
The experiment was carried out in phases, collecting both primary and secondary data. The
secondary data was collected initially. The information was then gathered via primary sources.
As a consequence, the project work was completed utilizing the data collected.
Sources and methods of data collection:

Sample Size:

Using these strategies, I created 16 questions for nursing personnel, with a sample size of 100
nursing department employees.

LIMITATIONS:

1. The information from FORTIS must be obtained within a certain amount of time.

2. Because it is a multi-national hospital, there is a lower risk of sensitive information being


disclosed.

3. In certain cases, access to persons or records is prohibited or restricted.

4. Finding meaningful associations will be difficult if the research sample size is too small.
