Topic / Concept: Multiplication and division facts
Expected Learning Outcome: Students will be able to recognise and understand the
relation between multiplication and division known as inverse relation.
Resources Needed:
1. Chart paper
2. Flashcards
3. Crayons
Lesson Activities:

Introduction: Teacher will recapitulated the concept of multiplication by
10 drawing array method on the board 6×3 after getting the answers from the
minutes
students, then the teacher will draw bar model to show 4 multiplied by 5
equal to 20.
From these bar model students will derive the multiplication sentence and
two division facts.

5×4= 20 20÷5= 4
Main activity (During Lesson): The teacher will divide the class into four
groups. Each group will get a flash card with multiplication sentence.
Students will draw bar model for each multiplication and will write 2 division
facts for each. (2X3, 5X6, 4X9, 4X4).
Plenary (Post Lesson): As Students have already learnt the concept of
multiplication and division facts, so they will solve these two questions in
their cw copy:- 9x9= , 8x7=
