class Cyclostomata, such as the lamprey and
hagfish, having a round sucking mouth and
pouchlike gills.

pairs of gill slits.
- Have a sucking and circular mouth without
jaws.
- Devoid of scales and paired fins.

Reproduction
- Are marine but migrate for spawning to freshwater.
- Die within a few days of spawning.
- Their laravel returns to the ocean after metamorphosis.
