I was traveling through an airport when I experienced bribery for the first time.

I had just arrived from a

5 hour flight and was eager to get through luggage checking and take a taxi and reach home. However,
they stopped me and my luggage from going through since it had a radio and they asked for a receipt
which I didn’t have since the radio is an old one. Suddenly, the man who was checking my luggage
approached me and whispered, "I can help you skip this for a small fee." I was surprised but curious, so I
followed him to a corner where he demanded $15. Feeling annoyed and reluctant, I handed him the
money and he let me through the checking. Feeling ashamed and deceived, I vowed to never give in to
bribery again. It was a hard lesson, but I learned that shortcuts come at a cost.
