I. Introduction

In this modern time, some students think Social Studies, or Araling Panlipunan, is a
boring subject. This is primarily because the topic deals with politics, economics,
history, and even the government, constitution, and society. Since the subject's
contents are so objective, they ought to be taught in a precise and thorough manner.
As a result, students occasionally find the subject dull and uninteresting. Teaching
students to be motivated to learn has always been a challenge for many educators,
and this is particularly true of social studies teachers. Using a variety of teaching
techniques to engage students' interests and enhance their learning might help you
determine whether your students are not as interested as you would like them to be.

Teachers play a vital role in helping students appreciate and love the subject, Araling
Panlipunan. It will greatly affect the patriotism and how learners value themselves as
Filipinos. Teaching Araling Panlipunan will aid in the growth of a fully formed citizen
who is knowledgeable of contemporary social issues and concerns on both a local
and global scale.

Araling Panlipunan teachers provide various activities that will encourage learners to
enjoy the subject while learning. They also allow students to perform tasks that will
holistically develop their higher order thinking skills.
