ECOLABELS JOURNAL
◦ Introduction: Fundamentally, sustainability
is the search for solutions that satisfy
current demands without compromising
the capacity of future generations to
satisfy their own. The economic, social, and
environmental pillars are its three
interrelated aspects. From an economic
perspective, sustainability involves
promoting fair trade, eliminating waste, and
managing resources responsibly in order
to create long-term prosperity.

primary ecolabel categories. These
ecolabels are classified as Type 1, Type 2,
