Rules & Regulations


1. Venture Vibe – Innovative working models/Business proposals

* Participants can present models/proposals with an abstract of 200 words (Times


New Roman, Font Size 12 with 1.5 line spacing in MS word). The abstract should be
mailed to researchack@gmail.com on or before 20.02.2024.
* Only one submission (model/proposal) per student/ team (Maximum of 2 students per
team) will be allowed. Each student should pay the registration fee individually.
* Participants can only register through online. No spot registration will be allowed.

2. Dazibao – Poster Presentation

* Topic will be given on the spot.


* A maximum of 5 participants from each institution can participate.
* The time duration is 1 hour.
* Only one poster is allowed per participant.
* The poster must be in English.
* Poster Size: maximum 36 x 48 (inches) .
* The poster need to be self-explanatory.
* Participants need to bring the required materials.

3. Green Weaver – Grain Carpet

* One or a team of 2 members will be permitted.


* A maximum of 3 individuals/ teams from each institution can participate.
* The time duration is 1 hour.
* Participants need to bring the required grains.

4. Art Biz – Pencil Sketch

* Topic will be given on the spot.


* A maximum of 5 participants from each institution can participate
* The time duration is 1 hour.
* Participants should use only pencils.
* A4 sheet will be provided.

5. Trashformation - Wealth from Waste

* On the spot event.


* One participant is permitted.
* A maximum of 5 participants from each institution can participate.
* The time duration is 1 hour.
* Participants need to use only waste materials and bring the required materials.

6. Cinmov – Short Film (Group event)

* Each team will comprise of maximum 5 members.


* Only one team per institution.
* The short film should have original content, need to be in English, directed and acted by team
members.
* Duration of the short film is 5 minutes.
* The short film shall not contain any offensive, obscene, disrespectful actions or gestures.
* The video content should be submitted on the first day at the time of registration in a pen drive
.
7. R2R - Reel - (Group event)

* The team should comprise of 3 members.


* Duration of the reel is 1 minute.
* The reel should be only in English.
* The reel should not contain any offensive, obscene, disrespectful actions or gestures.
* The reel should be submitted on the first day at the time of registration in a pen drive .

8. Versify – Pen a Poem

* It is an individual event and the topic will be given on the spot.


* A maximum of 5 participants from each institution can participate.
* The time duration is 1 hour.
* The poem should be in English.
* Participants need to bring the required stationery except papers.
9. Monograph - Essay Writing

* It is an individual event and the topic will be given on the spot.


* A maximum of 5 participants from each institution can participate.
* The time duration is 1 hour.
* The essay writing should be in English.
* The essay should not exceed 1000 words.
* Participants need to bring the required stationery except papers.

10. Living Statue- Face Painting ( Group event)

* The team should comprise of 2 members.


* A maximum of 3 teams from each institution can participate.
* The time duration is 1 hour.
* Participants need to bring the necessary materials.

11. Yes Talk – Just a minute talk (Individual event )

* Topic will be given on the spot in relevance to the theme.


* A maximum of 5 participants from each institution can participate.

12. Actomania - Mime (Group event)

* Each team will comprise of maximum 6 members.


* The time duration is 5 minutes.
* Only one team per institution.
* Mime should be based on the theme of the event
* The act should not contain any dialogues, lip sync, props, disrespectful actions or gestures.
* The background music (if any) should be submitted on the first day at the time of registration
in a pen drive .

13. Melody in Motion - Group Dance (Group event)

* Each team will comprise of maximum 6 members.


* Only one team per institution.
* The time duration is 5 minutes.
* Dance should be based on the theme of the event.
* Only background music should be played.
* Participants need to dress modestly.
* The dance steps should not contain any offensive, obscene, disrespectful actions or gestures.
* Use of harmful and hazardous materials like fire, knife, petrol, glass bottle etc. is strictly
prohibited.
* The background music should be submitted on the first day at the time of registration in a pen
drive .
14. Magiclens - Photography (Individual event)

* The time duration is 15 minutes.


* A maximum of 5 participants from each institution can participate.
* Photographs should be captured in the campus of Auxilium College.
* Theme will be given on the spot.

15. Brainblast– Quiz (Group event)

* Each team will comprise of 2 members.


* Only one team per institution.
* Quiz will be based on the theme.
* Teams will be shortlisted based on the preliminary round.

GENERAL RULES AND REGULATIONS

* The participants need to adhere to the theme for all the competitions
Youth Environmental Stewardship-YES.
* The registration fee is Rs.1000/- for each participant.
* The registration fee includes registration kit, working lunch and snacks for both the days.
* Participant should be a bonafide student of Arts and Science Colleges only and should bring
the ID card.
* A participant can participate upto a maximum of 5 individual competitions within the
allotted time frame.
* Vulgarity and obscenity will not be entertained in any form.
* Negative points for exceeding the time limit.
* The participant/team will be disqualified, if the instructions are not followed.
* The decision of the judges will be final.
* Accommodation will be provided for the outstation participants based on request
with a minimal charge on a first come first serve basis.
* Participants need to fill the registration form along with the registration fee on or
before 18.02.2024.
