Welocome to the city of Puebla

Hi Bro.
I'm so excited for your visit. I notice you have some interest in the local food. I'm pretty
sure you're going to like it. But let me introduce you to some options before you arrive, so
you have an idea of what to expect.
Mostly, I want to talk about breakfast. Like tamales, those are a pretty common street
breakfast around here. They come in a variety of flavours, like "rajas," which consist of
tamales with some sort of chilli in them. Just take note that some are spicier than others.
depending on who you are buying them from. Another important thing is that tamales are
sometimes consumed with bread in a sanwich-type format. Those are often referred to as
"Guajolotas." In my opinion, those are the best, but you can try them all to figure out which
one is your favourite.

Another common breakfast here in Puebla is "chilaquiles," which is a stew or cacerol-style

dish. Those are composed of a tomato sauce, it can be green tomato or the traditional and
bigger red tomato. The dish gets a different name depending on the type of tomato used.
Again, in my opinion, red "chilaquiles" are better, but you can try about as many options of
chilaquiles as you want before you decide your favourite.

Now that you know some breakfast dishes here, I hope you come running as fast as you can
so you can try them out. And sorry if my mail is a little longer. I got to write a little about
foods I like and share my thoughts on them with you.
