ANNUAL CAPABILITY BUILDING OF GUIDANCE AND COUNSELING PROGRAM

1. In line with the Basic Education Development Plan (BEDP) 2030 where
DepEd puts forward the promotion of the overall well-being of learners in a
positive learning environment, this office informs the field that there will be an
Annual Capability Building of Guidance and Counseling Program
Coordinators on February 16, 2024 at Annie’s Restobar and February 23,
2024 at St. Paul University Dumaguete and Silliman University. Participants to
this training are School Guidance and Counseling Program Coordinators.

2. The training aims to:

- develop the skills and knowledge of guidance and counseling program
coordinators to provide effective guidance services to students and
personnel.
- enhance the ability of guidance and counseling program coordinators to
provide substantial and meaningful activities that promote students’ well-
being and empowerment.
- improve the enthusiasm of guidance and counseling program
coordinators to understand the guidance program.
- instill the values of love, peace, and unity in guidance and counseling
program coordinators through individual and group activities.

3. Expenses relative to the participation of coordinators to this activity shall be

charged to School MOOE amounting to 500.00 less from the downloading
subject to the usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations.
Implementing units will pay via check payment to DepEd Division of Tanjay City
as payee. Attached is a list of participants.
