If you work for a man, in heaven's name work for him. If he pays you wages
which supply your bread and butter, speak well of him and stand by the
institution he represents; because if put to a pinch or a test, an ounce of loyalty
is worth a pound of cleverness.
If you must vilify, criticize, condemn and eternally disparage, resign your
position; and when you're outside that company, then you may damn and
criticize to your heart's content. But as long as you are a part of that institution,
do not condemn or criticize it.
If you do criticize it, you are loosening the tendrils, the key factors that are
holding you to that institution. And at the first high wind, you will probably be
uprooted and blown away, and may never know the reason why...
"Don't Quit"
When things go wrong as they sometimes will, When the road you're trudging
seems all uphill, When the funds are low and the debts are high, And you want
to smile but you have to sigh, When care is pressing you down a bit, Rest if you

Sir, I came from the land of the Kings, where everyone can do what he wishes. I
hike the plains of Luzon and hurdled the mountains of Baguio just to reach my
precious destination ... The Philippine Military Academy. Now, I am here as a
plebe, a ducrot to the thirdclassmen, a chicken to the secondclassmen and a
good neighbor to the firstclassmen. Now, are you resigning? No sir, over the
dead and rotten body of fourthclassman (state name of a plebe,) Sir.
“How many days”
Sir, there are _____ days, _____ hours, ______ minutes, ______ seconds, and
_____ ticks and a butt till (occasion). Oh Noble Cataline; may the great God in
Heaven speed them more quickly by the great God of Jupiter and may the
coming days be more joyous, but not for me Sir! May your classes be no soirees,
and your sorrows negligible, and on your leave may there be some beautiful
femmes, sandwiches, lots of scags, full moons, plenty of Coca Cola and hot
darn; but not for me, Sir!
It is a metaphorical four-sided geometrical figure formed with extreme
accurateness arduously trained debonair selected with outmost consequences
emulated as the emulated as the islands of Tawi-tawi to the higher lands of
Aparri, in anticipation of their turn for a simple handshake with a thousand of
annotation.
It is the terminus of infinite summation of the squat thrust and push ups, the
never-ending mission impossible compliance and orders, the neck breaking
head ups and endorsements accumulated since the start of the indoctrination
and orientation period until this eventful day.
It is when the most significant and more worth tears of joy will finally run down
on every plebe; a clear manifestation of deep satisfaction and pride for hurdling
the same path travelled by those ahead of them.
It is an outset of a new life full of chances, without a tint of apprehension. For
deep in their hearts the training that they had was enough to bolster their
conviction.
It is the momentous time their perfectionist and hard to get upperclassmen
gifted with extreme senses finding even the slightest in accuracies will finally
shake their hand and after the sweetest meaningful words “carry on”
It is a glorious for our proud parents who witnessed the transformation of their
well-loved child, no more sons and daughters but more responsible men and
women, who selflessly enhanced their untroubled civilian lives into a cave worn
but more noble profession at sea.
It is a chance of a lifetime to witness their knight and ladies be formally
recognized by their upperclass men as a part of a big family by the three pillars
virtus, fides and disciplina with the same aspirations, service to bod and people.
In short and simple language, Recognition day is too difficult for words to define
sir!

bitter; for always there will be greater & lesser persons than yourself. In the fell clutch of circumstance For hearts are young again
Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans. Keep interested in your own I have not winced nor cried aloud. We've known the warmth of hearts before
career, however humble; it is a real possession in the changing fortunes of time. Under the bludgeoning of chance Let old mem'ries live again
Exercise caution in your business affairs; for the world is full of trickery. But let My head is bloody, but unbowed. Our Alma Mater Hail to Thee
