Sub: SEEDAP – Implementation of DDUGKY Program – trainee entitlements –

instructions on providing insurance to the trainees – Reg.

Ref: 1. Notifcation No 1/2016, 42/2016, dated 01.01.2016 & 26.08.2016 issued

by Rural Skills Division, Ministry of Rural Development, Govt of India.

Officials during the training center inspections.

In the recent review meetings conducted on implementation of DDUGKY

Program, while reviewing the various parameters of training center inspections, it is
noticed by the undersigned that the mandatory insurances (as per the reference 1 st
cited) viz., Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyothi Bheema Yojana (PMJJBY) and Pradhan Mantri
Suraksha Bheema Yojana (PMSBY) to all the trainees undergoing training under DDUGKY
Program have not been provided and the same observations are also made by the
JDMs, SEEDAP and NIRD Officials during their training center inspections.

In this connection, all the Project Implementing Agencies (PIAs) of DDUGKY

program are instructed to provide the above-mentioned insurances to the trainees
without fail. The Jobs District Managers, SEEDAP are instructed to follow up with the
PIAs in their respective districts to provide insurance to the trainees undergoing training
in already freezed, verifed and confrmed batches and for the new batch/s, the JDMs
are instructed to freeze the batch/s only after ensuring that the trainees are provided
with the above insurances.

The above instructions shall be followed scrupulously without any deviation.
