5.0 METHOD STATEMENT

SN DESCRIPTION OF ACTIVITY RESPONSIBLE

PERSON

First, test the PRV to know if the Servicing

PRV will pop/relief at the tag set technician/equipment
pressure or the required pressure, operator
using the standard test gauge/ the
digital test gauge as reference.
If it pops/relieves at the set pressure Servicing
on the PRV tag, then, there will be technician/equipment
no need to reset or adjust, but if it operator
doesn’t, then calibration/adjustment
is needed.
Severe the tamper proof wire (with Servicing
cutter) to enable access to CAL technician/equipment
NUT. operator

Unscrew the CAP LOCK using Servicing technician

spanner.
Loosen the LOCK NUT (with Servicing technician
spanner)
The adjustment starts (using spanner Servicing technician
or pliers).
Open the isolation valve to let the Servicing technician
Nitrogen flow into the manifold.
Use the pressure regulator to Servicing technician
regulate pressure going into the
PRV.
Adjust the CAL NUT (calibration nut) Servicing technician
with spanner/pliers to get the
required pressure., referencing to the
standard test gauge, this is done till
the required pressure is achieved.
